Marianne L. “Ari” Kousbaugh, 46

Marianne L. “Ari” Kousbaugh of Troy died early Wednesday morning, June 28th at her home surrounded by family. She was 46.

Ari was born February 8, 1971 at Scranton, PA to Margaret “Peggy” L. (Kraemer) and William M. Shea. The family moved to the Osburn, ID area and she attended schools at Wallace, graduating from high school there. She then attended nursing training at Boise State University and worked in home health.

Ari was a published author and enjoyed writing short stories, poems and had completed a novel. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, volleyball and ultimate fighting championships (UFC) as well.

Ari and William M. “Bill” Kousbaugh were married in Troy on October 11, 2012. He survives at their home. She also leaves a son, Jacob Dean and grandchildren Tinley and Wyatt, her mother, Peggy Banks of Osburn, a brother William O. Shea of Osburn, half- brother, Jeff Shea and half-sister, Christina El Toro both in Pennsylvania and step-daughters, Janelle Kousbaugh of Moscow and Colby Kousbaugh of Harvard.

Ari was preceded in death by her son, Dylan James Dean in 2003 and her father.

A family graveside service has taken place at the Moscow Cemetery where she was buried next to Dylan.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Kindred Hospice, 1610 NE Eastgate Blvd., Suite 610, Pullman, WA 99163.
