Sherrill Anderson, 75

Sherrill Anderson, 75, of Trona, California, passed away June 12, 2017, with family by her side. She was born March 17, 1942, to Phyllis Jensen and John Megginnis.

She met the love of her life Darol Anderson in Sturgis, South Dakota and they got married March 10, 1968.

Soon after the moved Wallace, Idaho, where Darol worked at the Sunshine Mine while Sherrill was a homemaker and mother to their 5 beautiful kids, whom she loved dearly.

In their later years they moved to Trona, California and during that time she was a active in the VFW ladies auxiliary club, and was currently the trustee of the Elks lodge #1975 in Trona.

Our mother was a champion bowler in her younger years and she loved to play softball.

She was known for her keen sense of style and spunkiness.

Our mother had a gracious heart and was always helping out anyway and anyone she could. She was dearly loved in the community and she will be dearly missed.

Sherrill is survived by her husband Darol Anderson; daughters Natalie Streeter, Yvette Rullman, Michelle Kendall, and her son Darol Anderson Jr.

Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patty Menard, her son James Byron Wickham (Lakota) whom she loved with all her heart.

Her final resting place will be National Cemetery in Sturgis.
