02/22/17
•1328 Fire and EMS crews responded to Main Street in Smelterville. The patient’s condition was assessed on scene however she refused transport to the hospital.
•1634 EMS crews responded to the county jail for a male patient who had fallen, unknown injury. Patient was evaluated and refused transport. Patient was placed in holding cell for observation overnight, and will be seen by jail doctor in the morning.
02/23/17
•1055 EMS crews responded to the area of Burke canyon in Wallace for unknown medical. Patient was evaluated by EMS and refused transport to hospital. EMS cleared, returned to station.
•1354 Fire and EMS responded to Main St in Smelterville for a patient having a seizure. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further evaluation.
•2338 Fire and EMS were dispatched to H St in Smelterville for a patient with breathing problems. The patient was assessed, treated, and transported to SMC for further evaluation.
02/24/17
•0451 EMS crews responded to North 2nd street in Osburn for a female who fell. Patient’s hip and left leg were packaged for possible injury. Patient was transported to SMC for further evaluation and treatment.
•1700 Fire crews responded to Smelterville to investigate an electrical hazard caused by a leaking roof. Found the ceiling surrounding a light fixture saturated with water and starting to fall. Advised the occupants there is an electrical hazard and that repairs will need to be made by either the landlord or themselves.
•1950 EMS crews responded to Cedar St. in Wallace for a patient who had seizure like symptoms. When crews arrived patient informed that it was not a seizure and that his friends had been mistaken. Patient did not want to be transported to hospital.
•2212 Fire and EMS responded to Kingston for a man who had fell and broke his leg. Pt was treated on scene and taken to SMC for further care
02/25/17
•0612 EMS crews responded to Polaris St. for a female who was feeling ill. Crews treated and transported to SMC.
•0644 Fire crews responded to a stove on fire on Cameron Ave in Kellogg. Once we arrived on scene the occupants stated that they put the fire out with some salt and water. Removed the stove from the home and check surrounding area for fire extension.
•1115 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan nursing home for a patient with difficulty breathing. Crews treated and transported to SMC.
•1145 Fire crews responded to the Pinehurst Superstop for a vehicle fire. On arrival at the scene, found a pickup parked at a pump had overheated. No fire or other problems found.
•1359 EMS crews responded to Burk canyon for a patient who needed assistance with getting back into their wheelchair. EMS crews helped patient. Patient did not wish to be transported to the hospital.
•1643 Fire crews responded to Silver Valley Rd. for a possible natural gas leak. No threats to the life at this residence at this time.
•1743 EMS crews responded to Mullan for a patient who broke his leg while trying to jump a snow bank. Patient had some pretty great stories, and was quite the happy camper for having a broken leg.

•0658 Fire and EMS responded to a residence on Cataldo Dr. in Cataldo for a patient with Chest Pains. Patient was assessed and treated for the pains and then transported to SMC for further care.
•1155 EMS crews responded to Lookout Ski Area for a 12 year old male patient with a possible spinal injury. Crews assessed the patient with lower back pain and transported patient to SMC for further testing and treatment.
•1800 Great food at the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the Elks Club in Wallace. Congratulations to award winners Chad Flood, Jess Hunter and Brandon Walcker! Thank you to all of our volunteers for your dedicated service.
02/27/17
•0622 EMS and Fire crews responded to Mountain Valley Care and Rehab for a patient with breathing difficulties. Pt was transported to SMC for treatment.
•0834 EMS crews responded to the Burke Rd. area for a patient experiencing chest pain. Patient was treated on scene and transported to SMC for further treatment. Crews would like to thank the patient for his service as he is a Marine Corps Veteran.
•0930 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan home in Silverton for a patient having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated on scene and transported to SMC for further treatment. Crews would like to thank patient for his service as he is a Army Veteran.
•1230 EMS crews responded to Shoshone Medical Center for a Basic Life Support transfer to Good Samaritan Home.
2/28/17
•1245 Fire and EMS crews responded to a Life Watch alarm activation on West Fork Pinecreek Rd. Arrived to find the alert was just a test and EMS was not needed.
•1347 Fire and EMS responded to 3rd St in Pinehurst for a medical evaluation of a patient requested by law enforcement. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further evaluation.
•1752 EMS crews responded to Wallace Super Stop for patient who fainted and hit her head. Dressed laceration on patient’s head while standing as many responders in the smallest amount of space possible. Patient refused ambulance transport, but promised to go straight to the hospital. Helped patient into friend’s vehicle.
•1800 AEMT students stuck each other with TB test needles. If that isn’t putting full trust in your coworker, I don’t know what is.
3/1/17
•0626 Fire and EMS crews responded to A St in Smelterville for a patient with right side pain. Units were cancelled en route as patient was transported by a family member to the hospital.
•1257 EMS crews responded to Osburn for female patient who fell with no injuries. Helped patient up, stayed to assess patient and check vitals to make sure everything was okay. Patient refused transport.
•1359 EMS crews responded to County Jail for patient with extremely high blood pressure. Treated and transported to SMC.
