March 1

06:26 Fire & EMS responded to A St in Smelterville for a patient with right side pain. Units were canceled en route. Patient was transported by a family member to the hospital.

08:59 Fire and EMS responded to Elizabeth Park in Kellogg for a patient with difficulty breathing. The patient was assessed, treated, and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

15:20 Fire & EMS responded to Wildcat Way in Kellogg for a patient who had slipped and fell. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further evaluation of the injuries.

20:25 Fire and EMS responded to Washington Street in Smelterville for a male patient with difficulty breathing. He was assessed and treated before he was transported to SMC by ambulance.

23:12 EMS was dispatched to Elizabeth Park area for an unknown medical problem. Patient was assessed and denied transport.

March 2

00:27 Medical units responded to the area of Markwell in Silverton for a lift assist. Patient was lifted back into bed and refused transport to hospital. All units cleared, and returned to quarters.

02:20 Fire and EMS responded to C Street in Pinehurst for a male having a medical issue. Patient was transported to SMC while CPR was conducted.

10:39 EMS crews were dispatched to Johnson St. for lift assist, but were canceled en route.

March 3

02:20 EMS crews responded to Burke Rd. for a patient who had broken their finger. Crews treated, and patient did not want to go to the hospital.

06:12 Fire and EMS responded to Main St. in Pinehurst for a patient with difficulty breathing. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

07:57 Fire crews responded to Cedar St. for a gas leak. Crews quickly found leak and shut off valve.

14:14 EMS crews responded to Lookout Ski resort for a patient with a back injury. Crews treated and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further care.

12:58 Fire crews responded to Cypress St. for a fire alarm activation. Apparently dinner might be a little over cooked

16:30 Fire crews responded to Vergobbi Gulch for a complaint of diesel on the ground. The spill was small and was contained with some absorbent pads.

17:09 EMS responded to the report of a medical emergency on Lower Page Rd. Crews assessed the patient, treated and transported to SMC.

21:38 Fire and EMS responded to the report of a house fire on Ohio street in Pinehurst. Upon arrival found that steam from a dryer vent was mistaken for smoke. The reporting party felt bad about the mistake, she was assured that she took the correct action. We would much rather check out a false report instead of getting a delayed report.

March 4

07:14 EMS crews responded to E Larch for a patient with heart problems. Crews treated and transported to SMC

10:20 EMS crews responded to I-90 E for a rollover vehicle crash. All occupants were uninjured.

12:58 Fire & EMS responded to 3rd St in Pinehurst for a patient with stroke symptoms. Patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further treatment.

14:06 Fire & EMS was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Interstate 90. Units arrived to find vehicle overheated.

16:16 Ems crews responded to Osburn for a patient having seizures. Patient was treated by crew and transported to SMC.

18:46 EMS crews responded to Osburn for a patient who was having stroke like symptoms. Patient was upset that it had to happen when it did, due to the gonzaga game just starting. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

20:23 Fire crews dispatched to Wallace area for a basement filling with smoke. Crews investigated and found it was a faulty furnace and everyone was OK. Crews cleared the scene and returned to quarters.

March 5

07:25 EMS crews responded to Kellogg for a patient who had fallen and hurt his knee. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

16:17 EMS crews responded to Osburn for a patient having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

17:59 Fire crews responded to Silver Mountain Condos for the report of somebody trapped in an elevator. Turns out it was somebody playing with the buttons.

22:43 Fire and EMS crews responded to a patient experiencing neck pain from dancing the night before. The patient was taken to SMC for treatment.

March 6

03:04 EMS crews responded to Silverton for a patient who had fallen. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

08:06 EMS crews responded to the area of Cameron Drive in Sunny Slopes for female with difficulty breathing. Patient was treated by EMS and transported to SMC.

09:09 EMS crews responded to Johnson Street in Osburn for male in diabetic shock. Patient was cared for by EMS and transported to SMC for further treatment.

10:18 Fire crews responded to an alarm at the Sunnyside Elementary School, 2 engines, Chief, and 8 fire personnel responded. Upon investigation found a heating unit fan motor had malfunctioned. Crews ventilated the smoky room with positive pressure fans.

13:18 Fire & EMS crews were dispatched for a patient who had apparent death signs. Arrive on scene to confirm death. Crews assisted Shoshone Funeral Home.

18:16 EMS crews responded to Burke Road for a male who had fallen on the ice, and was sitting in the frigid snow. Patient would like to be sitting somewhere much warmer and needed assistance with getting there. Patient was helped back up off the ground and into residence. Patient refused further medical assistance, and all units cleared.

23:13 Fire and EMS responded to a residence in the Bauman Addition area of Kingston for a female with unknown problem. Patient was assessed and treated for abdominal pain. She was transported to SMC for further care.

March 7

00:30 EMS crews dispatched to 303 Chestnut for a possible traumatic injury. Patient was assessed and transported themselves to hospital in privately owned vehicle.

05:34 Fire crews responded to the three hundred block of Cameron Drive in Sunny Slopes for smell of natural gas. Fire personnel took a nice early morning walk around neighborhood playing a game of hide and seek with the leak. Crews were able to trace the leak back to BBQ grill where the tank was found open and leaking. Tank was shut down and odor dissipated. Fire crews cleared the area, returning to station to shovel more snow.

08:55 EMS crews responded to the report of a medical emergency in Smelterville. One person was treated at the scene, patient did not wish to be transported to the hospital.

10:42 Fire & EMS was called to E. Portland Ave for a possible drug overdose. Patient was transported to Shoshone Medical Center.

12:18 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan in Silverton for a medical transfer to SMC. Patient was safely transported, and medical cleared, crews returned to quarters.

18:21 Fire & EMS responded to a medical emergency on A street in Pinehurst. One person was treated at the scene and taken to SMC by ambulance.

19:16 EMS crews responded to the area of High Bank in Wallace for an injury from domestic violence. One patient was treated by EMS and transported to SMC.
