The victim, 31- year old Nicol Carvalho of Wallace, was treated by Shoshone County District 1 EMS and transported to Spokane for further medical treatment of undisclosed injuries.

After an initial investigation by SCSO and the Osburn Police Department, a felony arrest warrant was issued on Wednesday for 58- year old Terry Houghton for charges of aggravated battery and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury or death.

A day later, Houghton turned himself in and will make his first appearance in court Friday morning.
