Delores Armijo, 79

Delores Armijo, 79, died Feb. 2, 2017 at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital in Scottsdale, Ariz., due to an accident.

She was born May 25, 1937 in Waterloo, Iowa. She lived in Mesa, Ariz., and also the Silver Valley of North Idaho for many years.

Delores graduated from North Idaho College and became a Certified Nursing Assistant, and worked as one for many years in Mesa, Ariz. In addition, Delores also worked for the Salvation Army. Delores had a love for all animals. She loved the blue skies and the swimming pools of sunny Arizona.

Delores is predeceased by her husband Joe Armijo (May, 2 1972). He died in the Sunshine Mine Disaster. Delores is survived by two sons, Joe Armijo and Cliff Armijo (Angie), and daughter, Marsha Armijo; six grandchildren, Holly Armijo, Wesley Armijo, LeeAnn Stewart, AJ Jupin, Sabelle Armijo, Levi Prescott; and four great-grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Randy Rodriguez, Emily Keener and Karmen Keener.
