March 9

- 1351 EMS crew paged to Woodland Park for a patient with severe abdominal pain. Crew transported patient to SMC for further evaluation and treatment.

- 2022 Fire and EMS crews responded to E Mullan Ave for a chimney fire. Fire was quickly controlled and extinguished.

- 2159 EMS crew dispatched to W Yellowstone in Osburn for a patient who had fallen and was unable to get back up. Crew helped patient back to their bed and left patient in the care of family members since patient did not see the need to go to the hospital.

March 10

- 0710 EMS crew responded to 3rd street in Osburn for a patient who had fallen. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

- 1049 Fire and EMS crews responded to Queen St in Wallace for a power line that had fallen. A tree had fell and took the line down. Crews blocked off Queen Street until Avista arrived.

- 1312 Dispatched to Belaire Dr. in Pinehurst for a medical emergency. Patient was assessed and transported to Kootenai Health.

- 1458 Report of a medical emergency on Mathew Loop in Smelterville. One patient transported to KMC.

- 1613 EMS crew responded to Yellowstone for a patient who was having difficulty breathing. Pt was treated and transported to SMC for further medical evaluation.

- 1728 EMS crew responded to mile post 62 for a man who had several abrasions on his head. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

- 2145 Fire and EMS responded to a residence on Bunker Ave in Kellogg for a medical emergency. Patient was treated for a diabetic emergency and transported to SMC.

March 11

- 0815 EMS crew responded to 7th street in Silverton for a patient who had been bleeding from her nose for almost 12 hours. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

- 0854 EMS crew responded to 7th street in Silverton again, but this time for a patient who was having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

March 12

- 0854 Fire crews were called for a smoke alarm at Silver Mountain, cancelled en route...bacon overdone.

- 1300 EMS crew responded to Silver Mountain gondola base for female with head injury from skiing. Pulled in just behind another ambulance responding to a snowboarding injury. Rough day on the mountain! Treated and transported to SMC.

- 1501 Fire and EMS crews responded to Smelterville for diabetic patient who fell and hit his head. Treated and transported to Kootenai Health.

March 13

- 0912 EMS crew responded to Osburn for a patient with shortness of breath. Treated and transported to SMC.

- 1009 Fire crews responded to Lewiston Ave in Pinehurst for a Life Alert activation. The residents were performing a test of the alarm and did not need assistance.

- 1052 Fire and EMS responded to Silver Valley Rd in Kingston for a patient with hip pain. The patient was assessed and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

- 1151 EMS crew responded to Wallace for patient with an anxiety attack. Remained on scene attempting to help calm patient down. After determining that patient was having an anxiety-induced medical emergency, EMS crews transported patient to SMC.

- 1211 EMS crew responded to Wallace for a lift assist. Patient refused transport.

- 1244 Fire and EMS responded to W Fork Pinecreek Rd to provide lift assist for a patient who had slipped and fell.

- 1350 EMS crews responded to Silverton for an unresponsive patient. Patient pronounced dead on scene. Deepest condolences to the family.

March 14

- 0605 EMS crews responded to Osburn for a lift assist. Patient refused transport.

- 1134 Crew dispatched to a patient with stroke like symptoms. Upon arrival found patient complaining of knee pain. Transported to SMC.

- 1338 Fire and EMS responded to a medical emergency on Kellogg Ave Pinehurst. One person was taken to SMC

- 1543 EMS crew dispatched to an elderly female with dizziness. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

- 1838 Crew responded to mile post 68 west bound per law enforcement request for a patient with ETOCH. Patient was found in a snow bank alongside I-90, and informed personnel that he was walking to Kellogg. Crew treated, but did not transport per patient’s request. Crew left patient with law enforcement.

- 1915 Fire Crew dispatched to fire alarm activation in a warehouse building. Confirmed false alarm. Waited on scene for owner to allow access into structure, and reset alarm.

- 2144 Crew dispatched to a female with a possible broken arm, crew treated and transported.

March 15

- 0306 Crew responded to Good Samaritan nursing home for a patient with shortness of breath. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

- 0319 Crew responded to Larch St. for a patient with shortness of breath. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

- 0637 Fire crew dispatched to Two Mile St in Osburn to assist a homeowner with water flooding into her house. Fire crews filled sandbags and diked the creek from overflowing toward the house. All units cleared and returned to service.

- 0807 EMS crew paged to Johnson St in Osburn for a male Pt with decreased LOC. Pt transported to SMC for treatment.

- 1229 Fire crews dispatched to one of the buildings to the West of the courthouse in Wallace for report of smoke. Upon investigation smoke is found to actually be steam coming from Wallace Brewing. All units returned to service.

- 1847 EMS crew responded to Main Street in Kellogg for a patient complaining of shortness of breath. Crew treated and transported to SMC.
