Edna Lucille Davenport, 86

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Edna Lucille Davenport, 86, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away on March 25, 2017 at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan in Silverton, Idaho. She was born January 21, 1931 in Pasadena, California. Edna was the daughter of Thomas and Lucille (Bailey) Hodges.

Edna attended and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, California in 1949. Edna moved from Glendale to the Silver Valley in 1968.

On February 14, 1963, Edna was united in marriage to Roderick Davenport in Reno, Nevada. In 1968 they moved to the Silver Valley from Glendale, California.

Edna worked as a sales clerk for J.J. Newberry for 15 years. In her free time she enjoyed baking and knitting. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Edna is survived by her; four children, Cheryl Dofelmire of Kingston, Idaho, Robert (Vicki) Hanson of Yakama, Washington, Monty (Glenda) Davenport of Gig Harbor, Washington and Jackie (Mark) Yates of Newport, Washington; her brother Edward Hodges of Burbank, California; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roderick and two brothers.

Burial will take place at Shoshone Memorial Gardens and private family services will be held at a later date.
