KPD Roll Call 4/25-5/2

- Called to the middle school for a pocket knife. No threats were ever made and it was never showed to anyone. Student was not charged with any crime.

- Stationary radar on Bunker Ave. No traffic stops made.

- Called to McDonalds for a disgruntled customer. Apparently this customer had a real hatred for onions. When McDonalds put the hated onions on his sandwich he became upset and threw the McScrew-up at the front window. Manager obtained his license plate and I went to his residence to have a chat with him. K77 gave him a lesson in conflict resolution and deductive reasoning skills. Cleared peace restored.

- Called to the 500 block of Brown street for a noise complaint. Tenant said it will be quiet for the rest of the evening and she was going to bed. Cleared 4.

- Attempted some warrant searches was unable to locate.

- Disturbing the peace at Amy Lynn’s RP called in a couple yelling and smashing/ hitting a car. The only person in the area was a man working on his car placing tools in his tool box. K75 advised him that somebody called in and requested it to stop so his kid can get a good night’s sleep for school.

- Landline request- civil.

- Traffic stop on Hill St x2 for failure to stop. cleared verbal.

- Extra Patrol requested at Cameron and Bunker Ave. Reports of a guy hanging out at the intersection talking to himself. Extra patrol done and was unable to locate said person.

- Theft from McDonald’s. Male subject took the hand-truck that was left outside. Report taken.

- ATL careless/inattentive driver westbound I90 from 57. Driver last seen exiting in Kellogg and parked at Yoke’s. 661, 669, and I located vehicle and stopped westbound on ramp at 50. Driver was given a ride to Smelterville by 661 and arrangements were to be made for someone to retrieve vehicle. Non-alcohol or drug related. Will be looking into getting an evaluation prior to continuing driving (states his vision has been getting blurry throughout the week).

- County assist with domestic in Smelterville. Upon arrival, there were enough units for cover. Cleared upon arrival.

- Subject from McDonald’s theft possibly spotted at Cameron Conoco - left prior to arrival. Checked the area unable to locate.

- Civil Stand-by 100 block of W. Mullan. After contacting both parties, requested tomorrow morning 0900. Requesting party hung up the phone several times after being told not tonight, unknown if attempt will be made tomorrow.

- Called to Amy Lynn’s for noise complaint. Cleared verbal warning.

- Assist ISP locating a vehicle on I-90 WB on-ramp 50, vehicle was gone upon my arrival.

- Traffic stop from Cameron Ave. proceeded to WB on-ramp 50, Cleared verbal.

- Look it’s raining again.

- Traffic stop on Bunker Ave. cleared verbal warning.

- Civil paper service day. Attempted 3, served one (K71 served the other) cleared out remaining civil papers.

- Landline request at KPD - information passed off to investigating officer as I had no information for caller.

- Burglary report taken from Emerald subdivision. Report created.

- County assist 800 block of Moon Gulch for Domestic reported female in possession of Taser (stun gun) and pepper spray. Upon arrival, parties were already separated and situation had not escalated. Thinking that guy might want to think twice before making her mad again. County unit handled and I cleared.

- Public assist with found items in the Silver Mountain (Dave Smith portion) parking lot. Items disposed of in sharps container - public assist.

- Assist Health and Welfare with in-home visit, investigation of new allegation. Unfounded for new allegation. Report created for documentation purposes with no crime involved.

- Report of unattended juvenile playing near roadway Division and Portland - Unable to locate.

- Walk-in report for found camcorder in the city park. Turned out to be found in Smelterville’s park. Item turned over to County.

- Warrant arrest of juvenile. Taken into custody without incident and transported to Shoshone SO for processing and transfer to JDC.

- Assist medical on Vergobbi.

- Assist county with possible domestic, cleared other agency assist.

- Motorist assist at subway, was able to get him a voucher for the night.

- Emerald division foot patrol.

- Amy Lynn’s foot patrol.

- Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

- Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

- Assist county with cow elk on the path between Kellogg and Smelterville (north of I90). Elk was injured in some way and lying directly on the path. County handled with Fish and Game as well as ITD in removal.

- Landline request reference civil issue. Parties contacted and peace restored for the time being with agreement forthcoming for property recovery.

- Reports...the past several days’ worth.

- Called to a “half dressed man” in the grass area in front of (south side) of the Amy Lynn apt’s. Upon arrival, a neighbor stated that the man was “tweaking” and ran down towards E. Idaho. 1226 located the male behind Rico’s and I arrived simultaneously. The male was detained. I had medical dispatched due to heart rate and the fact he was sweating heavily. Upon medical’s assessment, I detained individual for a detox hold. He admitted to injecting meth 2 hours prior and drinking a bottle of “J.D.” and a six pack of Steel Reserve’s. Although that would be enough to kill a buffalo, this male was running naked being chased by the invisible people, so it was determined that the SCSO was the safest place for him to detox.

- Called to assist county look for an individual who needed a welfare check. She was not located within our city limits.

- Traffic stop from Mission and Sunset (verbal for license plate and stopping at intersection....not just when another vehicle is seen).

- Detoxed an adult male. Said male was discovered passed out in the laundry facility at the Amy Lynn’s. He was intoxicated beyond a point of him being able to take care of himself, for his safety he was detained on a detox hold and transported to SCSO.

- Loader vs car on Mullan Ave. Car lost. Driver of said car was also issued a citation for not having insurance. (If you’re going to play chicken with a loader maybe insurance would be a good thing, just a thought).

- Follow up on No contact order violation.

- Called to the 100 Block of E Mullan Ave for a disturbance. Cleared Peace restored.
