KPD Roll Call 5/2-5/9
•Land Line (LL) request for a civil dog issue. I advised caller on the proper channels to take. Cleared public assist.
•Got called to 100 block of Elder for a disturbance. An adult male upset with his upstairs neighbor for making too much noise decided that it would be a good idea to confront her about it by punching her in the nose. When the male was asked about what happened he said that it was not him, but his muddy feet said otherwise. Said male was arrested and charged with battery and unlawful entry.
•Got called to Lincoln Mall for juveniles making entry. Cleared building and cleared unfounded.
•Assisted ISP with DUI at Cameron Conoco.
•Called to Fair bridge for disgruntled guest and possible DUI. Cleared with peace restored/warning.
•Assisted county with a possible shots fired. Ended up taking a person into detainment at gunpoint. Investigation will continue by SCSO.
- Called back down to Mission Avenue to a neighbor dispute.
•Called to kids going into the old Dick and Floyd’s building. I did a walk through the building and had flash backs of playing Donkey Kong with my cousin years ago. Anyone else remember playing arcade games in Dick and Floyds? Good times. I was unable to locate any kids inside the building. Cleared with a smile.
•Traffic stop on Railroad Avenue for brake light out. Driver who was driving without privileges decided to switch with his drunk passenger. Driver number 1 was now informed that he just put his passenger in actual physical control of the vehicle. Driver number 2 about made a #2 in his seat... Driver #1 was cited for DWP, cleared cite and release.
•Message left on my voicemail for something someone else handled. Contacted the caller and advised someone else handled and it had been taken care of...they are going civil route anyway.
•Follow-up from last week’s burglary - more follow-up to be done tomorrow as well.
•School bus stop arm violation reported by bus barn. Collected information and was able to track down driver of said vehicle. Citation issued. Arrest - cite and release.
•Animal complaint/issue. Appears to be civil, more follow-up to be done tomorrow as one of the persons involved was not available during my shift.
•Traffic stop W. Cameron and Short - verbal for studded tires and front license plate.
•Traffic stop Hill Street Conoco - verbal for studded tires.
•Traffic stop W. Cameron and Cedar - verbal for speed
•911 hang-up 400 block of S. Division - Public assist as 911 call was made for medical issue in Wallace.
•Citizen contact reference possible missing person at Gondolier. Juvenile was supposed to go for a hike and was not answering phone or text messages. While looking at the Park, juvenile showed up. Public Assist.
•Report of animal cruelty, cleared verbal warning.
•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave/ Chestnut DWP and no insurance, cleared misdemeanor arrest.
•Disturbance at Shoshone Apartments cleared peace restored.
•Called to Bunker Apartments for intoxicated individual. The intoxicated person was able to find a ride home before my arrival. Cleared unable to locate.
•Traffic stop on Cameron Avenue cleared verbal.
•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.
•Civil stand-by 400 block of Chestnut, person was not there so civil stand-by was not needed. Assist county with traffic stop on Caledonia - driver arrested for DWP as well as other charges.
•Traffic stop on Bunker at Silver Mtn - verbal for speed.
•Possible Meth Lab 300 block of W. Mullan - UNFOUNDED. Chemicals were found at a residence but it is believed to be involved with gold polishing and not creating illegal substances. Advised to dispose of properly and gave information for contacting certified disposal agencies. Public Assist.
•Contact Health and Welfare @ KPD - only information was passed along - you will find this information in an email from the Sheriff’s Office.
•Received information about juvenile possibly running away this evening. Information will be passed along to oncoming shift.
•Parking ticket on McKinley.
•Juvenile party on Maple Avenue. Beers were lost, parents were called. Cleared peace restored.
•Traffic stop on Main Street Wardner.
•Traffic stop on I-90 ended up being a medical issue not a drunk issue. Cleared refer to other agency.
•Arrested Frank Beck on his Misdemeanor warrant.
•Theft 100 block of W. Riverside - turned out to be civil with a possible trespass notice to be given to former tenant. Will call back if/when they want the trespass notice given. Civil.
•Welfare check 100 block of Elder - subject was safe and sound, information relayed.
•Assist Fire with fire alarm at Silver Mountain - Building C. Subject checking in accidentally set off fire alarm. He notified front desk prior to fire dept arriving. Nothing further after deactivating fire alarm. Other Agency Assist.
•Mobile and stationary patrols in Kellogg and Wardner.
•Stationary- Bunker/W. Cameron.
•Stationary- 100/200 block of Main in Wardner.
•Traffic - Hill and Cameron - verbal for speed.
•Traffic - Slaughterhouse 100 block of Main Wardner - Cite speed 40/25.
•Traffic x3 - 700 block of W. Cameron - verbal x3 for speed.
•Domestic 100 block of E. Portland. Parties separated, no visible signs of physical altercation. Statements collected and report taken.
•Threats - 100 block of E. Cameron. Happened at a different location. Information is that a female pushing a stroller with child pulled a gun on a male subject. After further investigation (no other description given other than black hair and blue stroller) it seems to have been a mis-communication between the parties. Male was driving and swerved not to strike female. Stopped his car and exited angry. This is when the female displayed the gun. No threats were made as she advised him not to come towards him. After speaking for a while, he realized she may have been scared by his actions. Attempted to locate female without success. UNFOUNDED.
•Malicious injury to property - Trail Motel. After review, this is civil as the person that last rented the room is not the person on the index card and is unknown. Civil.
•Animal complaint on Vergobbi and Cathryn. Male subject fell to the ground due to dog at large. Dog was able to get back inside fenced area and door hanger for violations was left at residence. Phone contact was attempted with owners of dog and messages were left (by Dispatch). See below for further.
•Report of a lost puppy in the Emerald addition. Puppy was returned home safe and sound.
Called to the “super stop” for a suspicious circumstance call. After ascertaining which Conoco to go to, I found the vehicle in question after interviewing driver and passenger. I cleared unfounded.
•LL request, cleared public assist.
•County assist at the old Wallace school gym. Two doors were found open by 1220. After clearing the building. I cleared other agency assist.
