Saturday, May 13

- 32nd annual Depot Days in Wallace. Classic car show, food, events, and so much more.

- Silver Mountain’s Spring Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon. Managers on hand to meet and hire for positions becoming available. Bring your resume to Noah’s Loft.

- Silver Valley Upward Bound fundraiser banquet from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Elks. Open to the general public. The banquet will feature an all-you-care-to-eat dinner and silent auction of student art.

- Mother’s Day

- Kellogg planning and zoning meeting at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall.

Tuesday, May 16

- Northern Pacific Railroad Depot Museum in Wallace presents “Train Wrecks: An Exhibit From the Pages of Railroads Through the Coeur d’Alenes” at 6 p.m.

- Smelterville Lions Club meeting at 7:15 p.m. at 301 W Main St., Smelterville. Event reoccurs the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

- Wallace School District Kindergarten registration from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Silver Hill Elementary in Osburn. Parents need to bring child’s birth certificate and immunization records. Teachers will be on hand to answer questions and information will be available for the summer reading program.

- Shoshone County Noxious Weed Advisory Group meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office. The advisory group is seeking general public participation with those who generally share a concern for our land and waterways.
