VFW announces cemetery visit schedule for Memorial Day

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post 1675 will be paying their respects and honoring the memories of the deceased this Memorial Day across Shoshone County.

The cemetery visit schedule from May 29 is as follows:

8:45 a.m.- Depart Osburn from the VFW Hall

9 a.m.- Gene Day Cemetery, Osburn

9:30 a.m.- Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Silverton

10 a.m.- Mullan Cemetery, Mullan

10:30 a.m.- Nine Mile Cemetery, Nine Mile Road, Wallace

11:45 a.m.- Murray Cemetery, Murray

Noon- Rest stop in Mullan

1 p.m.- Hunt/ Bisaro Cemetery, Kingston

1:20 p.m.- Pinehurst Cemetery, Pinehurst

2 p.m.- Greenwood Cemetery, Kellogg

2:30 p.m.- End at VFW Hall, Osburn

All veterans and their families are invited to the VFW Hall at 2:30 p.m. for a pot-luck luncheon following the cemetery visits.
