KPD Roll Call 5/23-5/30

•Welfare check on the 100 block of Mullan, everything was good.

•Stationary patrol at Utah and riverside- stop sign enforcement.

•Traffic stop at Cameron and Oregon (this was Boot’s first traffic stop. He did pretty good, but he did unintentionally make the young lady cry, so I had to dock him some points for that). He cleared the stop, verbal warning and feeling bad for said tears.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Unwanted person on Mullan peace was restored.

•Theft call on the 100 block of Mullan. 27 inch Samsung T.V, two kayaks, and a Queen size Mattress. Report taken.

•Various locations for foot patrols (started to get a little windy, which is ok....until it started throwing dust at 30+mph).

•Suspicious circumstances 900 block of Woody (Wardner). Neighbor in hysterics talking about person(s) inside his residence (500 block of Main). Contacted subject along with medical as it was believed by reporting party there may be an issue medically. With permission, went to residence to clear it of intruders. Residence was completely secure and no signs of forced entry. Resident declined medical and was transported back home. Stayed with a neighbor for the night for monitoring and assistance. UNFOUNDED.

•Had assistance from county while working on above call with a tree downed on Price in Wardner. Deputy was able to remove tree from roadway. Huge thank you for the assistance.

•Assist county with residential break-in that is in progress in Wallace (west end was up CDA River). Cancelled prior to arrival.

•Located construction equipment on W. Brown with lights flashing. Deactivated the hazard lights.

•Picked up several cones and barrels through the night.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave cleared verbal warning.

•Called to Hill Street Conoco for a panic alarm. Arrived on scene to find out the rookie cashier inadvertently pressed the button. Cleared false alarm.

•Assisted 1228 with a theft case, he had to interview a person on the 400 block of W. Brown assisted in a search and cleared agency assist.

•Only call to service was a disturbance at the W Idaho Apartments. RP was code 4 upon arrival. I looked around the area and all was in order. Cleared public assist.

•Lots of patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Traffic stop on McKinley Ave for headlight, cleared verbal.

•Public nuisance on the 500 block of W Mission Ave.

•Traffic stop on I-90 WB on ramp 50. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave, cleared verbal.

•Traffic Hazard on I-90, cleared hazard removed. Someone will be missing a box of Christmas decorations... and there were casualties. Only one nutcracker had survived out of the four. Said nutcracker is at the Police Department sitting on K75’s desk if the owner wants to come and take him home.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Ave, cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave. Cleared citation issued.

•Report of battery on W Portland cleared peace restored, no battery had occurred.

•Assist K74 with fight on E Portland, cleared peace restored.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Contact vehicle with juveniles on Sierra Nevada...they were told to go home.

•Traffic on Bunker @ Wildcat - verbal for speed (enforced a little heavier in front of Silver Mountain due to foot traffic from campers).

•Multiple citizen contacts throughout the night due to bicycle traffic (Kickstands and Kegs). People really liked the keg part of that....not so good on the whole riding bike portion. All persons were in good spirits (no pun intended) though and kept to the sides of the roads.

•Battery reported on W. Portland- K75 handled.

•Mobile Patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Boot is now with K77 because his right arm was really white and needed some sun. It went from fish belly white to bright red.

•Stationary patrol at Bunker and Hill.

•Failure to yield, vehicle was being driven down the road with the rear hatch open with skis, poles and other stuff ready to fall out! Finally got them to stop, closed hatch, cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop in the hill street depot parking lot, ran the stop sign at bunker and hill. Cleared verbal. Dog had to go the bathroom quite badly!

•Medical assist for injured people mountain biking. Seems the first rides of the year were taking a toll on the riders. Multiple calls.

•Traffic complaint of a driver swerving all over the road. Near head on collision at one point and the RP had the plate and vehicle description. Vehicle was back at registered address and the woman was heavily intoxicated, confirmed that she had just got home. Failed SFST’s and arrest made for DUI.

•Battery reported on E. Idaho. Contacted victim (heavily intoxicated), but no medical attention required. Parties separated and did not want to pursue charges. Victim refused.

•Battery reported on E. Portland- family altercation with nobody wanting to pursue charges (they may file later for malicious injury to property). Statement given and photos taken.

•Mobile patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Assist medical on yet another injured mountain biker.

•Assist county with locating an adult male with a active warrant. Checked his place of work and amazingly he had car troubles and did not make it into work.

•Agency assist with fight in Mullan- no further information on hand at time of dispatch. Mother vs son- county handled, cleared once peace was restored.

•Fight in progress on Upper 3rd- two juveniles. Once everyone was tracked down, parents did not want to pursue charges. All parents contacted and spoken with. Information report generated.

•Noise complaint of juvenile party 300 block of Maple. Upon arrival, approximately six persons around a fire in a backyard. No alcohol visible and minimal noise at the time.

•Advised to keep noise down and they stated they were packing it in for the night anyway. Peace restored.

•Assist Shoshone Funeral Services with unloading. Yeah that’s as bad as it sounds.

•Traffic stop Maple & E. Portland- verbal for studded tires.

•Called to the city park for two females yelling at each other. K73 had to break out his big boy voice to be heard over the squabbling females. Once he was able to get them to quiet down, they agreed to go their separate ways. Peace restored.

•Called to a traffic accident on S Division. Dodge Diesel truck vs Honda CRV. and the Honda won. True story.

•Landline request regarding information on possible suicidal subject. Only have a name and no other information. Cell phone gave GPS coordinates to Cameron and Division. Since they triangulated the cell, it had been turned off (1800 hours Montana time - 1700 our time). Time of call was approximately 2300 hours and no further information to go off of. Unfounded/Unable to Locate.

•Noise complaint 100 block of W. Idaho- Unfounded Reporting Party did not want contact.

•Reports.

•Placed an adult female on a protective custody hold after she had made some disturbing calls to 911. She was found to be gravely disabled.

•Assist K71 with taking subject into custody due to being gravely disabled.
