The three local high schools in the Silver Valley recently held their annual year end sports award banquets.

“It was an awesome evening and is always fun to honor these kids for working hard and competing,” Mullan athletic director Stetson Spooner said.

Not only do the three schools honor their top athletes, but also they also recognized the people who have supported them throughout the year(s).

This past school season had some definite highlights as we got to see teams try new leagues, reach higher levels of competition, and even the return of a team.
