Snow is on the way!

With winter quickly approaching the City of Pinehurst would like to remind all Pinehurst residents to please remove all “major recreational equipment” from the city right of way.

Per Ordinance No. 2017-220 “major recreational equipment” is defined as boats and boat travel trailers, pickup campers or coaches (designed to be mounted on automotive vehicles), motorized dwellings, tent trailers, and the like, and cases or boxes used for transporting recreational equipment, whether occupied by such equipment or not.

Major recreational equipment is subject to the following restrictions: From Nov. 1 to March 31 major recreational equipment shall not be parked or stored on any public way to exceed twenty-four (24) hours to accommodate the potential necessity for snow removal and other seasonal maintenance concerns within the city.
