Notice of Public Hearing City of Pinehurst November 14, 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Idaho Code 63-1311A, by the City of Pinehurst, Idaho that the Pinehurst City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on November 14, 2017 at the Pinehurst City Hall, 106 North Division Street, Pinehurst, Idaho to consider public comment regarding the institution of business license fees. The proposed fees are as follows: $10.00 annual business license $20.00 double permit fee for failure to comply with annual business licensing All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such items should or should not be adopted. A summary of the proposed ordinance is as follows: PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2017-223 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PINEHURST, SHOSHONE COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR A BUSINESS LICENSE FOR BUSINESSES OPERATING WITHIN THE CITY OF PINEHURST; PROVIDING FOR A PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION OF A BUSINESS LICENSE; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL MAY ESTABLISH A FEE BY RESOLUTION; ESTABLISHING EXEMPTIONS FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF A BUSINESS LICENSE; PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT AND APPEAL OF COUNCIL DECISION(S); PROVIDING FOR SUSPENSION AND REVOCATION OF A BUSINESS LICENSE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES AS PROVIDED FOR BY RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR MISDEMEANOR PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE CONSISTENT WITH STATE LAW APPLICABLE TO MISDEMEANORS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCE PROVISION(S), AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
