DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to Murray Water Association

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has announced the award of a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $20,000 to the Murray Water Association in Shoshone County.
The funds will be used to prepare a planning document and environmental review.
The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.
The total eligible cost of the project is $40,000.
The remaining $20,000 will be funded by the Murray Water Association.
