Canyon Elementary to hold annual Thanksgiving dinner and auction

Canyon Elementary students stand in front of the quilt that will be raffled off during the auction tonight at the school. The quilt was made by Kay Stovern and features each students name — written by the student themselves. This ham and turkey dinner is an annual event that raises the money for fund field trips, playground equipment, science supplies, teacher classroom support, and much more. Dinner begins at 4 p.m., carnival games/ cake walk at 5:30 p.m., live auction at 6 p.m., and silent auction from 4 to 6 p.m. Photo courtesy of JENNIFER FERGUSON
