KPD Roll Call Nov. 7-14

•Extra patrols for RV’s, Trailers, and boats on the city streets. As winter is here they can not be parked on the city streets (snow removal).

•Extra patrol Mission Ave.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Motorist assist 1200 block of McKinley Ave. - vehicle ran out of gas. When I showed up, they had someone giving them gas. Vehicle started and they were on their way to the gas station for more petrol.

•Began eLearning course for online training. What is supposed to be a two hour course ended up being 3+ hours just for the first part....thanks connectivity and buffering!

•Unwanted subject 400 block of Main in Kellogg. After speaking with all involved, alcohol was playing a major factor on one side of the discussion. Both live there and it was explained how to have the other removed. Due to the alcohol, this discussion was not understood. Intoxicated party elected to leave and go stay with a friend. Intoxicated subject came back another time and began causing issues. He was told to leave and this time given the ultimatum of coming back and going to jail (detox) as he was showing an inability to make rational decisions and preserve the peace and quiet of the neighborhood/residence. He left again peacefully and the monitoring was turned over to the remaining shift.

•Called to Eddie Joe’s for a report of a man growling at people walking into the bar. Subject was gone on arrival but was told it was Steel Reserve man. Cleared UTL.

•K77 Responded to 500 blk of N. Hill street for a shed that was discovered open (suspicious circumstance call). Cleared nothing to report.

•While K77 was there he revived a noise complaint on Mission Ave. K77 was right across the street from said address and there was no noise emitting from that residence. I cleared unfounded.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•More follow up on reports.

•T-stop on Bunker across from KMS for speed. Cleared verbal.

•T-stop on I90 on ramp EB at 51 for speeding. Cleared citation issued (I bet you thought it was going to say cleared verbal huh?).

•Assisted K76 with call at 400 block S Division about unwanted subject. Cleared agency assist.

•Called back to same address again for unwanted subject, ended up being just a citizen contact at that residence. Cleared agency assist.

•Assisted Fish and Game with a fail to yield. Driver ended up pulling over in the parking lot across the street from Panhandle Linen. Cleared other agency assist.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Report of a person trying to break-in to a vehicle 300 block of Main in Kellogg - person was in fact trying to break in, but it was the owner of the vehicle that locked keys inside. Offered assistance to call locksmith and it was declined. Unfounded.

•Report of hit and run that occurred earlier in the day at the Silver Mountain parking lot (auxiliary lot). Upon arrival, they showed that a note was left on the vehicle with contact information for the person that struck the vehicle. They were not able to contact the person at this time and wanted to report it. Nothing to report as requirements were met by the person doing the striking (leaving contact info). No crime involved/unfounded.

•Called to Wallace to assist Deputy’s and medical personnel. Male subject victim of battery extremely intoxicated and known history and cautions for officers. He eventually ended up going to the hospital for evaluation (medical, not mental). Also assisted with Felony Warrant arrest while clearing. Other agency assist x2 as they were mere feet apart from one another.

•Called to SMC to assist with previously said patient. Not combative, just slightly uncooperative due to intoxication.

•Online training continues.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Dispatched to 100 block of railroad for a burglary. Investigation to continue.

•Dispatched to 400 block w Cameron for business alarm. Cleared building secure.

•Dispatched to 100 block North St. for dog at Large. Cleared NAT dog was no longer there.

•County believed they may have located stolen vehicle. By the time they caught up to the vehicle, discovered it was not suspected vehicle. Cleared Assist.

•Follow-up for burglary 100 block of Railroad Ave for K72 - I spent the entire night on this trying to get a search warrant.

•Check on SMC as phones were not being answered. Front office appeared to not set the ring to night time where it rings throughout. All was well.

•Called to the 600 block of West Cameron Ave. for a disturbance- arrested 18-8004 driver.

•Reports.

•Assisted K77 with disturbing the peace at the Morning Star Lodge. Cleared agency assist.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Photographed more of the railroad burglary.

•Called to 411 bunker apartments for a welfare check on a 10 month. Everything was code 4 on arrival.

•Land line request regarding threats made over Facebook messenger, after speaking with RP and meeting her at her residence she decided to take no action.

•Had a walk-in fire arm theft, but turned out that it happened out if the city. A deputy was then called for her.

•Assist County with a domestic in Smelterville.

•Called to Presley Ave. for brother dispute, cleared peace restored.

•County had a dog for the pound from Kingston. Dog was later released on Bail.

•Patrolled the fog in streets of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Agency assist for ISP, locate vehicle on I-90 MP 50. Vehicle was gone upon my arrival.

•Traffic stop Main St. Wardner for driving with no headlights cleared verbal.

•Released dog from pound.

•Foot patrol on Main St., West Portland, East Portland, Mill.

•Dispatched to Yokes for petit-theft, 30 pack of beer. After Looking at video footage, the adult male was identified (Steel Reserve man). He was cited for the theft.

•Walk-in for child custody issue. Issued an ATL. Father found the juvenile with his mother at the courthouse.

•Dog at large at 10 block of W Mission. Cleared dog was picked up by owner.

•911 hang up at SMC. Cleared NAT.

•Tagged trailer on Hill St. for removal.

•Checked on abandoned car on 100 block E Cameron Ave. UTL

•Assisted medical at 100 Block of North St. Cleared other agency assist.

•Dispatched to Upper Third for domestic in progress. Arrested an adult male for felony domestic battery and cite and release for possession of marijuana under 3 ounces and possession of paraphernalia.

•Landline request for a drive by at 500 block W Brown St. for possible drug activity. Cleared unfounded.

•Reports.

•Dispatched to 300 block of E Idaho to assist probation and parole on a house search. Cited resident for possession of paraphernalia.

•Dispatched to the Trail Motel to remove unwanted subject. Female subject was trespassed. Cleared subject removed.
