Jacob “Jake” Carl Dellinger, 22

Beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend, Jacob “Jake” Carl Dellinger, 22, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away November 18, 2017 at his home in Wallace. He was born August 21, 1995 in Kellogg, Idaho; Jake was the son of Todd Dellinger and Naomi Clark.

Jake has lived in the Silver Valley all of his life. He attended and graduated from the Wallace High School in 2013. Jake had also attended the North Idaho College.

Jake had worked as a carpenter for T.D. Construction (his Dad’s company). He had also worked for Jim Guy of Backwoods ATV for a short time.

Jake loved and enjoyed the outdoors- hunting, fishing and driving his truck in the mountains. He also enjoyed wood-working projects and excelled at maintenance and repair of small engine vehicles.

Jake was loving, talented, humble, generous, gracious and compassionate. He was selfless and always willing to help anyone and lend a hand.

Jake is survived by his father Todd and Shannon Dellinger of Silverton, Idaho; his brothers and sisters Mike and Chalon Dellinger of Osburn, Cody and Brianna Cline of Osburn, his fraternal twin brother Jon Dellinger of Wallace, Stefanie Jones of Silverton, Christian Dancer of Osburn, Miranda Dancer of Silverton, True Wilks of Wallace; his paternal grandparents Jack and Donna Delehanty of Spokane, Washington; his paternal grandmother Dixie Dellinger of Prichard, his maternal grandfather Dick Clark of Wallace; his beloved dog Buck; his aunts and uncles Randy & Kathy Dellinger, Carla and Brandon Johnson, Richard & Darci Clark, Terry Dellinger and Matt Dellinger and Melissa Reed; his nieces and nephews Connor Cline, Dixie and Madelynn Jones, Austin and Rylea Johnson, Stephen Dellinger and Garrett Clark; Jake is also survived by numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Clark, his paternal grandfather Butch Dellinger and his maternal grandmother Joy Clark.

A Celebration of Jake’s Life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace Elks Lodge of Wallace with Pastor Art Fleming officiating. A reception will also be held following services at the Elks. Two masses have also been held in memory of Jake.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Ducks Unlimited or to any outdoor foundation or organization.
