George Charles Sink, 75

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, George Charles Sink, 75, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away November 19, 2017 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho. He was born January 12, 1942 at the Providence Hospital in Wallace, Idaho; George was the son of Claude and Dorothy (Moison) Sink.

George attended and graduated from the Wallace Academy. He later attended and graduated from North Idaho College.

In 1964 George was united in marriage to Eilleen Ortiz in Wallace, Idaho. Together they had three children. This past year they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

George worked various jobs over the years including working for Zanettis and Boeing before opening Lookout Ski shop in 1976 in Wallace. He later moved the Ski shop to Kellogg in the early 90’s. George also served on the city council in Wallace for several years.

In his free time George and Eilleen loved to travel. They especially loved going on cruises and seeing new places. George also had many hobbies including four-wheeling, boating, skiing, hiking, golfing and spending time in the great outdoors.

George is survived by his loving wife Eilleen; three children Renee (Arthur) Payeur, Dean Sink and Ron (Terri) Sink; nine grandchildren Matthew, Tony, Christopher, Jessica, Jordan, Ashley, Sarah, Julie and Carol; step-mother Thelma Sink; siblings Don Sink, Kathy Flood, Mary (Will) White, Beth Corcione; two step-brothers David Lunger and Jack Lunger. George is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Raymond Sink, Laura Herzog, Carolyn Slawson, Randy Sink and Margie Lunger.

A Celebration of George’s life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg. Following services a reception will be held in the fellowship hall. This will be potluck.
