11/15/2017

1550 Fire and EMS responded to Elk Creek Rd for a patient that had fallen. The patient had been assisted up and into bed by a neighbor prior to our arrival. Patient was assessed for injuries and ultimately refused transport to the hospital.

2109 EMS crews responded to Silverton for an elderly patient who had fallen. Crew helped the patient up, patient refused transport.

2238 Dispatched to I-90 westbound for a Motor vehicle accident. Patient explained how he was upset that a deer ran out in front of him. Patient stated he did not need a hospital just a stress ball.

1107 Fire and EMS crews responded to Dr. Reed’s office in Pinehurst for a patient experiencing sudden weakness and change in responsiveness. The patient was treated and transported to SMC for further care.

1324 Fire personnel responded to Riverview Dr. in Kingston for a utility line down across the road. Engine 212 remained on scene to maintain a safe zone until Avista confirmed the line was not an energized power line.

1358 Fire and EMS crews responded to a multi level structure in Wallace, heat and smoke detectors were going off. Heat was contained to a pan on the burner, but the smoke travelled a little further. Smoke was quickly cleared out by fire crews. Alarm was reset and crews cleared.

1628 Fire and EMS crews responded to Wallace for a lift assist. Patient was assisted and did not feel the need to go to the hospital. Crew cleared and returned to service.

0507 Fire and EMS crews responded to Ohio St in Pinehurst for a patient with flu-like symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

0643 Fire crews responded to Hilltop restaurant in Kingston for a smoke detector activation. The detector was accidentally set off from inadequate ventilation in the kitchen.

0647 EMS responded to Cameron Ave. for a patient having chest pain. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

1149 Fire and EMS responded to East Mullan Avenue in Kellogg for a report of smoke coming from a structure. Upon arrival found smoke coming from one of three apartments. One occupant was treated for smoke inhalation and transported to Shoshone Medical Center by EMS for further care.

2027 Dispatched to Pine Creek for a medical emergency. Patient assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

2248 Dispatched to Division St. in Pinehurst for a medical call. Patient assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

11/19/2017

0042 Responded to medical call on Bunker Ave. Patient was transported to SMC.

0253 Dispatched to man down on W Cameron Ave, Kellogg. CPR was initiated. Patient was transported to SMC.

1017 Report of a medical on Main Street in Smelterville. One person was checked on scene patient did not want to go to the hospital.

1228 Report of a fire alarm going off on Silver Valley Road Kingston. Same kitchen issue caused the alarm to sound.

11/20/17

0808 EMS crews respond to Wallace for a Motor Vehicle crash. EMS crews were cancelled enroute no injuries.

0905 Fire crews responded to Hill St in Smelterville for a report of a possible explosive device. 2 bottles were found at the scene which appeared to be under pressure from an unknown mix of chemicals. The regional hazmat team from Kootenai County responded to identify the substance and dilute it for disposal without incident.

0915 Fire and EMS crews responded to Hill St for a patient with chest pain. The patient was treated and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

1950 EMS crews respond to the County Jail for an unknown problem. EMS crews treated and transported to SMC for further care.

1737 Fire and EMS crews responded to Hill St in Smelterville for a patient with chest pain. The patient was assessed and left in the care of a friend.

2010 Fire and EMS crews responded to Hill St in Smelterville for a patient having difficulty with a controlled substance. The patient was informed about options for receiving help and assessed for medical concerns. The patient was then released to the care of a friend.

2231 Fire and EMS crews responded to C St in Pinehurst for a patient with stroke symptoms. The patient was assessed, the patient refused transport against medical advice, stated they would transport to Kootenai Health by private vehicle.

11/21/17

1917 Fire and EMS responded to a camp trailer fully involved. Crew quickly extinguished fire and were able to save all exposures.

2007 Fire and EMS responded to The Amy Lynn Apartments for a patient who had been in a near drowning. The patient was taken to SMC for treatment.

0010 Report of a medical in Pinehurst. One person was taken to SMC by ambulance

0041 EMS responded to Division St. in Kellogg for a patient who had shot their own foot. Crew treated and transported to SMC. Please be careful with your firearms.

0713 Fire and EMS responded to Kellogg for a patient with flu like symptoms. The patient was taken to SMC for treatment.

1547 EMS responded to Bank St. in Wallace for a patient who had broken their wrist. EMS treated and transported to SMC.

1856 EMS responded to HIll Ave. in Smelterville for a patient who had fallen. Crew treated and transported to SMC

2305 EMS responded to Main Ave. in Wallace for a patient with severe abdominal pain. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

1420 EMS responded to Kleete Rd. for a patient who had fallen. Crew treated and transported to SMC.

11/24/17

1403 EMS crews were dispatched to Wallace for a lift assist.

2230 EMS crews were dispatched to Silverton for a patient with an uncontrolled nose bleed. EMS crews treated and transported the patient to SMC for further evaluation
