Beverley Colleen Spears, 74

Beverley (Palmer) Spears passed away September 26, 2017 at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Hayden. She was born on September 1, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Leo Glenn and Martha Palmer. Beverley grew up and went to school in Montpelier, Idaho. She married her husband Richard W. Spears in Paris, Idaho on 9-16-1960.

Beverley was a long haul truck driver with her husband, a bartender, and a clerk at Osburn Drug until her retirement. She came to Osburn in 1961 with her husband and daughter and lived here the rest of her life.

Beverley enjoyed, crocheting, knitting, painting, bowling, camping, sewing and ceramics. She also had a great love for animals. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by Richard Sr., her husband of 57 years; her four children – Tammy Spears, Teresa Kelly (Shaun), Tracy Spears, and Richard Spears, Jr. (Stephanie); her eight grandchildren: Brandon, Danny, Tyler, Hope, Tanya, Colby, Jaden, Cassidy; one great grandson, Leo; one great grandchild on the way; and two sisters, Glenna Rose Price and Amy Coates. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one daughter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a gift to Schneidmiller Hospice House, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815 in her name, or the Shoshone County Cancer Support Corp. in Kellogg, Idaho.

The family will have a private graveside ceremony at the Osburn Cemetery.
