KPD Roll Call Sept.26-Oct.3

•Follow-up on last night’s pellet gun incident. Attempted to track down suspect 2x without success.

•Took dog into pound from ISP arrest.

•After clearing the pound, suspect wanted contact as K74 was looking for him. Contacted him at Dave Smith - after reading Miranda, he admitted to shooting victim. He was taken into custody without incident and booked for Aggravated Assault and Discharge Firearm in City Limits.

•Assisted County with Pursuit from Silverton to Osburn. I was closest unit from Wallace (booking). After subject(s) were detained and all was good, I cleared and went back to continue booking. In the booking area, assisted with the in-custody that was brought in (he did not like one of the jailers so he was met by myself, four State Troopers, and two Deputies after trying to head-butt one of the detention staff. He received numerous charges.

•Assist K72 with paperwork for DUI and logging into report system as his credentials seem to no longer work with the changes made.

•Patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•T-stop 400 block of Bunker Avenue for no headlights being turned on at night. Cleared verbal.

•Two LL requests, the first call was about someone who was concerned about their neighbor. Requested more patrols. The second call was for follow up on an aggravated battery case but had negative contact.

•Dispatched to 400 block of Railroad Street for an unwanted subject. Cleared unfounded.

•While K72 was on the unwanted subject call, he observed a male driver speeding down Hill Street and skid out once he got to the bottom of Hill Street. Then he turned onto railroad and was speeding until he saw me then he pulled in front of 411 Bunker Avenue. Once K72 concluded his call for the unwanted subject, he went and spoke with that male driver which resulted in a DUI arrest.

•Ran paperwork up to courthouse from K72’s arrest.

•Ran to FBI building with K71 to drop off evidence.

•Civil standby with K77 at Amy Lynn’s.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Ave for speed, cleared verbal.

•Assisted 1203 by locating vehicle.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Finished a grand theft report this morning, on our new and improved system.

•Received some intel on Sass burglary. Will be continuing follow up tomorrow.

•Suspicious vehicle on Sierra Nevada Road. I tagged it for 48.

•Called to bus garage for stop arm violation. Have tag and video, but people won’t open their door for me...I wonder why.

•Called to middle school for found contraband. Principal and myself agreed to keep it at the school level and charges will not be filed.

•Dealt with the adult male who threatened to steal Avista trucks. He called to complain that we defamed him on Facebook, as well as confessing to wanting to steal more trucks because he’s being robbed by them again. And Again, he made Roll Call for said comments.

•K77 received a lot of “hey I saw you on the news today” haha good times.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Follow-up for my report from last night.

•Evidence work and further follow-up.

•Released dog from the pound.

•Citizen contact regarding No Contact Order and stipulations (Public Assist).

•Citizen contact regarding person loitering around businesses - K77 will look further into this during days when the businesses are open.

•Suspicious person in the 300 block of W. Mullan. Checked the area - unable to locate. Extra patrols conducted. When this was called in, spoke with neighbors that have a camera system in place and they did not see anything on the video system.

•Patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•T-stop on Cameron Avenue by the Silver Horn for no tail lights. Cleared verbal.

•Suspicious person @ 300 block of W Mullan. Cleared UTL.

•T-stop on Cameron and Hill Street. Citation issued for DWP.

•Citizen contact @ 400 block of Bunker Avenue. A couple of younger males were playing pokemon GO.

•Assisted K77 with minor crash at US Bank.

•Assisted K77 with dogs at large.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Assist K77 with possible abuse issue. Called in by Alliance. Non-criminal in nature.

•Civil stand-by 400 block of Railroad - subject is gone. Locks were changed on residence after making entry into the home (per owner request). There was no forced entry, K74 crawled through a window.

•Crash 700 block of Caledonia. On private property - agreement was made between the parties to take care of the damage. Civil.

•Lots of foot patrols and appearances at the football game and city park.

•While at the park, driver decided to spin his tires while leaving the parking lot. Once back at the vehicles, he drove back by. While trying to locate (located at the intersection of Railroad and Division), K72 attempted to initiate a traffic stop and subject fled. Located at the east end of Legion and K74 took the subject into custody for Reckless Driving. Report complete.

•Patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•LL request about harassment between two parties, spoke to RP over the phone and then drove over to 400 block of Mckinley Avenue to speak with other half of the party. Advised both parties to cease contact.

•While walking the park with K74, we noticed a truck peeling out of the basketball parking lot so we went out to find the vehicle. We ended up finding the truck and tried initiating a traffic stop but the truck tried eluding K74 and myself only he drove down Legion all the way behind longshots where there was no exit. Male subject was arrested for Reckless driving by K74.

•T-stop on Main Street, Wardner for no tail lights. Cleared cited for DWP.

•Dispatched to Fairbridge for a strong odor of Marijuana. Upon arrival you could slightly smell the odor of marijuana but we could not locate which room it was coming from. Cleared unable to locate.

•Dispatched to a vehicle stuck in the construction zone on 800 block of McKinley Avenue. Upon arrival I noticed a male running away from the area behind the museum. Once K72 walked up to the scene the other subjects were there and told me he was the one who was driving the vehicle and got it stuck on the sidewalk. The vehicle ended up hitting the cable that comes down from the power lines and dented the truck. Cleared report started.

•Patrols of Kellogg and Wardner along with foot patrols.

•T-stop @ on ramp MP 49 for stop sign. Cleared verbal.

•Agency assist on Silver Valley Road in Pinehurst. Cleared agency assist.

•Dogs barking call on Mission Avenue. Upon arrival dogs where not outside.

•Finished reports.

•Assist K76 for road rage incident.

•Possible 8004 driver heading EB on I 90. UTL.

•Called to the road rage incident that had happened on the freeway, unable to locate other party.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Foot patrol on Kellogg and Presley Avenue, Mullan and Cameron, began on Main Street for extra patrol around Sass.

•Called to assist 1216 on a vehicle that eluded him then crashed- cleared other agency assist.

•Courtesy transport to Silver Mountain from the IGA parking lot. Out-of-owners who had lost their way, also gave them advise on what to do about their missing iPhone.

•Called to an abandoned vehicle at 411 Bunker. Silver Saturn no plates back window busted out. K77 tagged for 48 hr and cleared.

•Bank alarm at Wells Fargo, it was the carpet cleaners. Cleared false alarm.

•Provided presence patrol at the Silver Valley Storm football games. Looks like we might have some talent moving up the ranks.

•Called to Hill Street for someone putting an egg in their yard. Egg not broken just sitting in the yard.

•Noticed the tag on the Saturn had been removed so I retagged it and cited the vehicle for parking where prohibited.

•Called to an agency assist in Pinehurst for a male that was in the wrong house- by the time I arrived the gentleman had been helped back to his home as he was a neighbor- Cleared other agency assist.

•Assisted 1114 with large debris in the roadway- Cleared other agency assist.

•Extra Patrol around Sass and around the hotel.

•Traffic stop at Main and McKinley for failure to dim headlights- cleared verbal.

•Paper service in 900 Block W Park. Cleared paper served.

•Vandalism at Kellogg City Park. Cleared report taken.

•Called to Cameron Conoco for abandoned vehicle, Nickerson’s has possession of the vehicle. Cleared public assist.

•Abandoned vehicle up for tow at 411 Bunker Avenue, Nickerson’s has possession of the vehicle. Cleared public assist.

•Abandoned vehicle on Sierra Nevada Road has been moved. Cleared NAT.

•While at 411 Bunker waiting for tow company K75 took a report of vandalism. Appears someone has shot one of the windows with a pellet rifle. Cleared report taken.

•VIN Inspection x2 in the 400 block of Riverside Avenue. Cleared public assist.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Citizen contact at Bunker Avenue and Wildcat way.

•Landline request regarding threats.

•Citizen contact at the Amy Lynns.

•Traffic stop on maple street- Clear verbal.

•Traffic stop on the 49 on ramp- Clear verbal.
