Hiking the Pulaski Tunnel Trail

All of the fourth-grade classes at Pinehurst Elementary School recently visited the Pulaski Tunnel Trail in Wallace as part of their Idaho history unit. Students were from Mr. Bourgard’s, Mrs. Derbyshire’s and Mrs. McKinnon’s classes and they go on the hike following their study of the 1910 fire in class and then they hike the trail so the students can see and experience the history they studied. The annual field trip is one of the highlights of the fourth grade.
