Wallace Inn continues run of excellence

| October 20, 2017 1:44 PM

The Wallace Inn recently announced that it has received a fifth consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Now in its seventh year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

Rick Shaffer, prime minister of Wallace and general manager of the Wallace Inn, was very pleased with the award and credited the staff at the Inn for their hard work.

“The Wallace Inn in historic Wallace has been the hospitality anchor for colorful mining history, the Route of the Hiawatha, Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, historic Pulaski Fire trail and the center of the universe as well as spectacular antiquing and fly fishing for almost three decades,” Schaffer said. “Our home away from home continues to be at the forefront of clean, comfortable, cozy, convenient lodging in North Idaho. This TripAdvisor badge of honor is only made possible through the diligent hard work of the Wallace Inn service team, who handle all of our guests needs from A to Z with a smile. From simple check ins and outs and immaculate rooms, well-maintained grounds, and tasty servings in our Trailside Cafe. The Inn is a one-stop shop for our guests in search of fun, recreation, rest, and relaxation.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

"With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honors hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travelers feel more confident in their booking decisions.”
