Saturday, Oct. 21

•6th Annual Tata’s Party and Auction at 5 p.m. at the Wallace Inn. Enjoy a fun evening while raising awareness and money for the Shoshone County Cancer Support Group.

•Pinehurst/ Kingston Lions pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. at the PK Lion’s Building, 106 Church Street, Pinehurst. Proceeds of the event go toward the Shoshone Cancer Support Corp.

Sunday, Oct. 22

•Shoshone Co. SAVE Coalition Community Day at Silver Rapids Waterpark from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds to toward the Bite2Go program, which provides meals to families in need.

•Kellogg Senior Activity Center Annual Chili and Pie Social from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 211 McKinley Ave., Kellogg. Live music by the Elderly Bros. All proceeds benefit the Kellogg Senior Activity Center.

Monday, Oct. 23

•Kombucha class at the Pinehurst Library at 6 p.m. Learn about the health benefits of Kombucha. Cole Ina Griffin will demonstrate how to make fermented tea and care for your SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast). Free tea samples will be provided. Tuesday, Oct. 24

•HSVCC Board Meeting at 5:15 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office, 10 Station Ave., Kellogg.

•North Idaho College basketball scrimmages at Wallace High School. Women’s game tip-off at 5 p.m. Men’s game tip-off at 6 p.m. Come enjoy a great night of college basketball and meet the Cardinals for free.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

•National lead awareness week event from 2 to 4 p.m. at the community action partnership food bank, 311 Main Street, Kellogg. Fresh fruit and milk products will be handed out to those who attend. Fight lead exposure with good nutrition!

•Retired educators monthly meeting at 10 a.m. at Canyon Elementary School. The program will consist of the Lunders’ Nature Trail, part of the magnet school’s nature program. Following will be a luncheon at the Rose Lake Cafe at 11 a.m. event reoccurs the fourth Monday of every month.

Thursday, Oct. 26

•HSVCC Luncheon at 11:45 a.m. at the Kellogg Community Center, 810 Bunker Avenue, Kellogg (Formerly Kellogg Middle School). Ricia Lasso with the Idaho Department of Labor will discuss the Apprenticeship programs and incentives and how they could assist Shoshone County Businesses and job seekers. •Free Medicare counseling with a Shoshone County SHIBA counselor. Call for an appointment for a one on one 1-800-247-4422. Bring your Medicare card and a list of prescriptions/ dosage and how often, or bring in your bottles. Oct.15-Dec.7 is the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare.

•Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon., 921 Mullan Avenue. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories, and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

•Osburn VFW meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Osburn. Event reoccurs the fourth Thursday of every month.

•Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from 12 to 2 p.m. Event repeats every Thursday.

•Shoshone County Fire District No.1 open house event from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Osburn firehouse/city hall. Learn more about the purposed bond to build a new firehouse and ask questions.

Friday, Oct. 27

•Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7 to 10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

•Mullan High School football at home vs Clark Fork High School. Kick-off at 3 p.m.
