A big thank you to all involved!
A big thank you to all involved!
A simple thank you is not enough for the cooperation of all who worked in any way to make the National Lead Awareness Week, “Fight Lead Exposure with Good Nutrition” event take place.
In front and behind the scenes kindness include; The Diocese of Boise, area churches, St. Rita’s, Real Life Center and their food banks, Community Action Partnership Food Bank, Walmart, Radio Station KWAL, Yokes, employee owned grocery, Steins Family Foods, ABC Business, carrying on with Ron’s legacy of community and children support, Head Start and Early Head Start representatives who traveled a good distance to learn more, Affinity Farms, Moscow, who provided the organic carrots, the Shoshone News-Press, last but not least, those incredible volunteers, the best the Silver Valley has to offer, Lois, Ron and Linda!
Judging from the surveys that were completed, the calls and other inquiries made, there is no doubt good nutrition and lead awareness are important to the lives of our children and their future.
More nutritional workshops are planned.
Stay tuned!
