The Brew Review: Red Light Irish Red Ale
You should definitely stop for this red light.
As a lover of craft beer, I appreciate all types and flavors of the stuff.
Each category has its own unique flavor that is suitable for a certain occasion.
I must admit though, I am partial to red ales and Wallace Brewing’s Red Light Irish Red Ale (ABV: 5 percent, IBU: 42) is one of the best around.
Presented with a pleasant red color and comfortable aroma, the Red Light gives its drinker a smooth malty caramel taste with influences of toffee and cherry plum.
Add in a very subtle nutty taste with an even more subtle chocolatey finish, and you have yourself a smooth/ toasty beverage that is easy to drink.
I can talk up the quality of this drink all-day, but this beer’s track record could speak for itself if needed.
The Red Light has taken a bronze medal in its flight at the North American Brewers Association Competition in 2013 and 2016.
With a great review and some medals in the trophy case, I see no reason why you shouldn’t give this one a try.
