KPD Roll Call 9/2-9/9

•Dispatched to 500 block of Bunker for suspicious person lingering around someone’s yard. Cleared unfounded.

•Happy Birthday K-75!

•Responded to burglary at KMS. Subject entered in a window and stole a laptop. I have a suspect who is a juvenile. Follow up will be completed.

•Follow up on Pending Investigations.

•Possible 8004 driver driving eastbound from 36. Cleared UTL.

•T-stop on 500 block S Division for 1 working tail light and headlight. Cleared verbal.

•T-stop on Oak and Riverside for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•T-stop on I-90 entrance 50 for 1 working headlight. Cleared verbal.

•Assisted K76 with citizen contact x2 at on ramp to I90 entrance 49 for two hitchhikers. Advised no hitch hiking along the interstate and Kellogg. They found a ride out of town toward Kingston.

•Placed 48 hr notice on red truck under I90 overpass on division for vehicle abandoned.

•Patrol of Kellogg and Wardner.

•County assist for shots fired in Pinehurst- cleared other agency assist.

•Traffic stop in the gravel parking lot on station- it was Richard Beck he said he was going to go for a walk over there but decided to just go home after the stop.

•Foot patrol on 300 block of Mission.

•Suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Mullan, gentleman was waiting for his girlfriend to come outside of the house- Clear N.A.T

•Responded to gondolier as requested by dist 2. The Clerk had a medical emergency and asked for me to standby until someone arrived. Once he was on scene I cleared.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Completed some vehicle beautification.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Traffic stop S. Division and Market- verbal for expired registration (3 days).

•Assist county in attempting to locate possible roll-over. Originally dispatched between Wallace and Osburn on Silver Valley Road, Medical sent to 54. Checked from Kellogg to 54 UTL. Vehicle was located on Highwater Road between 54 and Elizabeth Park- County Handled.

•Possible overdose 100 block of E. Portland- K77 assisted medical. Subject’s name was turned over to me and I will be contacting P&P tomorrow to advise them. Not a death or anything of that sort.

•Crash I90 mile post 50.2 eastbound. Minimal damage to vehicle, not reportable. Not a crash but a tire blowout where the car slid off road. Declined tow and witness offered to help pull out of ditch to replace tire. Public Assist.

•Landline request regarding K72’s stolen bicycle- information will be passed along for when he comes back on shift.

•Handled email info regarding upcoming training.

•Did follow-up for K72 on stolen bicycle case. Two statement forms given to two persons to be completed and turned in. Rest of bicycle was recovered by owner and is in their possession now. Location of items found was in Page. This is where the contacts were made as well.

•Foot patrols, McKinley, Ohio, W. Idaho, City Park.

•Foot Patrol with K74 on McKinley Ave around the old YMCA and Elks as well as foot patrol in the park.

•Courtesy shuttle for some extremely lost out-of-towners.

•Reports.

•Requested drive by for a possible bon fire near the silver ridge mountain lodge- cleared U.T.L.

•Traffic Stop on 50 on ramp for stop sign- verbal.

•Called to 411 Bunker to assist fire for a report of a bathroom fire. Cleared other agency assist.

•Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, E Portland.

•Extra patrol at Lincoln, YMCA.

•Follow-up on reports, finished reports.

•Patrolled the smoky streets of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Tagged a vehicle in the 3000 block of McKinley for 48-hour removal. Male claims to own the vehicle but it is titled to someone else. The license plates that were on it were fictitious, so he removed them. Initially gave him until dark to move the vehicle, but changed it to 48-hour. Vehicle was removed and the event closed. If this pops up on 9-6 for removal, it was gone as of end of shift and does not need to be towed.

•Parking ticket issued at the intersection of Division and W. Riverside. Vehicle parked on the southeast corner of W. Riverside in the yellow.

•Called to 400 block of W. Mullan- father vs son with threats made. Victim did not want to pursue charges for assault/battery (unclear what took place). Parties were separated upon arrival with only one half on-scene. The half on-scene wanted the other half removed from the residence (trespassed) - advised he needed to go through eviction procedures and he no longer wanted to talk after hearing that. Cleared Victim Refusal.

•Spoke with juvenile and parent/guardian about shooting BB gun in city limits W. Market at intersection of W. Portland. Subject was NOT damaging property or anything like that. Problem was resolved and all parties were made aware of city ordinance defining Firearm. Public assist.

•While en-route to assist K74 at the Amy Lynn’s with a call of suspicious activity, another call came out of a woman yelling around the apartments as well. After finding the person yelling, the two incidents were un-related. Cleared peace restored - Went to assist K74 on his call- cleared agency assist.

•Traffic stop in the 300 block of McKinley Avenue- Verbal for headlight.

•Extra Patrol around YMCA.

•Called to the 300 block of Cameron Avenue for a complaint of a party going next door. Upon arrival, the music was turned down. The reporting party didn’t want contact – cleared.

•Report of a stolen water truck from Northwind Construction. Truck was stolen in the job site up Government Gulch was located in Heron Montana. Cleared report taken/ vehicle recovered. So I like to think the best of people and I’m thinking that whoever took the water truck was just trying to help will all the fires in Montana. Yeah, I know, not likely.

•Burglary in progress at 401 W Portland... the upstairs apartment. Cleared building secured.

•Called to Amy Lynn’s for unwanted subject. An adult Female has been trespassed from apartment 9.

•Called back to Amy Lynn’s for same subject. She didn’t enter the residence but was on the stairwell. Medical issues ensued.

•Citizen contact at SMC, same subject from Amy Lynn’s apartment. She just wanted to tell me how I kept her from saving lives and I screwed up. Cleared no action taken.

•Removed same female from SMC as she was causing a scene and would not let the hospital staff help her. She was given three options, 1- Let the hospital staff try and help her. 2- Leave the hospital. 3- Refuse to leave and be arrested. After taking out my hand cuffs she decided on option 2.

•Arrested the same Adult Female from the Amy Lynn’s for trying to steal a truck from the Gondolier. Booked SCSO. So, in the end I guess she did chose option 3.

•Called to the Cameron Conoco for a fuel pump issue- cleared n.a.t.

•Called to the area of 400 block Price Street for suspicious activity. After speaking with the RP he believes it was his ex-wife watching his house.

•Welfare check at 600 block of Upper 3rd. x2 negative contact. Later on the RP made contact with subject.

•Welfare check 100 block of Kellogg, cleared negative contact.

•Welfare check KMS cleared negative contact. RP later made contact with subject.

•Welfare check at 300 Block W Mullan this occurred at the end of my shift while I was on a call with H&W. K73 took this one for me.

•Loitering at NIC/ Kellogg Library.

•Agency assist at Angel Wings Daycare assisted H&W with ongoing investigation. Cleared refer to other agency. Crime happened in Pinehurst and 11-12 was briefed.

•Foot patrol on Main, W Portland, McKinley.

•Construction on McKinley Ave is not enjoyable. Just sayn.
