Wednesday, Sept. 13

•Kellogg City Council meeting at 6 p.m. in City Hall.

Thursday, Sept. 14

•Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon., 921 Mullan Avenue. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories, and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

•Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from noon to 2 p.m. Event repeats every Thursday.

•Kellogg High School Soccer at home vs. Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy. Game starts at 5 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 15

•QPR training (how to “ask the question” to someone who is suicidal) at 5:15 p.m. Presented by the SAVE Coalition, sponsored by the Silver Vally Chamber of Commerce, and hosted by Hill Street Depot. The event will be hosted outdoors, dress accordingly to forecast. Limited outdoor seating available, bring your own chair.

•Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7 to 10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

•Free community movie night at Gene Day Park in Osburn. Movies will begin at dusk Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer. The event will be canceled if it is raining. Please contact Carol Young with any questions at 753-5475 (work), 659-7075 (cell).

•Ride & Dine Series at Silver Mountain from 2 to 8 p.m. Barbecue dinner and live music from local artists. Event reoccurs every Friday.

Saturday, Sept. 16

•20th Annual Walk-A-Thon for the Silver Valley Fuller Center for Housing at 9 a.m. Meet at 800 Bunker Ave. at the old Kellogg Middle School. It is about three miles and helps SFVCH fund materials for construction projects. Contact Penny Michael 208-752-1920 or Judy Blalack (208) 682-3240.

•Shoshone Medical Center’s 7th Annual Kid’s Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held This year’s theme is “Building Healthy Bodies.”

•Kellogg farmers market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Held at the Silver Valley Chamber office with fresh fruits. Support your local growers and enjoy these amazing fresh picked fruits.

Monday, Sept. 18

•Kellogg planning and zoning meeting at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, Sept. 19

•Smelterville Lions Club meeting at 7:15 p.m. at 301 W Main Street, Smelterville. Event reoccurs the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

•Kellogg High School Soccer at home vs Riverside High School. Game starts at 4 p.m.

•Wallace High School JV Volleyball vs Coeur d’Alene High School freshman. Game starts at 5 p.m.

•Kellogg High School Volleyball vs Timberlake High School. Game starts at 7 p.m.
