PES gets fresh look
Pinehurst Elementary School got a cool update prior to the school year that has made the school a little bit safer and will even help regulate the temperature inside the school’s offices.
Dave Smith Motors designed, created, and installed a brand new window tinting, privacy sticker inside the school’s front office.
Dave Smith Motors graphic shop had been contacted by the dealership’s marketing department after the school had reached out to them this past spring about the issue after the warm weather had become very uncomfortable for the people working inside the office.
Following a remodel that had been wrapped up a few years ago, the windows that could be opened inside the office were replaced by full, single panes of glass that allow radiant heat through.
PES also was looking to add a new level of security and privacy to their facility, before the new sticker anyone could see into the school offices, but now they can see anyone approaching the front door, but can remain unseen behind the sticker.
What makes this an even bigger win for the school is that it came at no cost to the district as a donation from DSM and the school is incredibly thankful for that.
“Pinehurst Elementary School would like to thank the Dave Smith graphic shop for a job well done,” PES office secretary Sarah Mason said. “Mary Kae in the marketing office and Justin from the graphic shop did such a good job. Thank you so much, we appreciate your support.”
