David Alan Hill, 67

David Alan Hill, 67 of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away on September 18, 2017 at his home. He was born August 30, 1950 in Long Beach, California; David was the son of Theodore and Elma (Marquez) Hill.

David attended and graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in Riverside, California in 1968.

In 1970, David was united in marriage to Susan Gilleland in San Diego, California. Together they raised two children.

David worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring.

David was a member of the NRA, North American Hunting Club, California Rifle & Pistol Club, Idaho Pistol & Rifle Association and the Rim of the World Four Wheel Drive Club. In David’s free time he enjoyed gunsmithing, tinkering on cars, motorcycles and playing with his dogs.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Susan; two children Jenniffer Cooke and Daniel (Leah) Hill; six grandchildren Katelynn, RyLee, Jason, Elijah, Kalli and Hazel; One sister Cecilia (John) Livesay and one nephew Eric Hunter. David was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Leo Long and brother Dennis Hill.

Per David’s request no services will be held.
