Tax aide needs more volunteers

Many years ago a good friend and tax-aide volunteer first told me about the program and that it was open to people of all ages not just senior citizens.

I tried the service and have had my taxes prepared by tax-aide volunteers ever since.

That same friend encouraged me to volunteer.

This will be my 4th year volunteering and I am looking forward to it.

Do you love your community and want to serve the people in it?

By becoming an AARP tax-aide volunteer, you can fill a real need in the community where you live.

Whether it is in Athol, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Kellogg or Rathdrum.

Many of our taxpayers return year after year and it is always good to see them, catch up on how their families are growing, maybe congratulate them on a transition to retirement, or just have a friendly conversation.

But as always our main focus is to provide the most accurate tax preparation possible absolutely free of charge.
