A note from the District One Firefighters: District One Fire Commissioners have approved us to move forward with a bond election for a new Fire and Emergency Services Facility this November! We believe it is time to modernize our facility for the benefit of our community. A new facility will improve response times for concurrent and major incidents, fit more capable and contemporary apparatus, and consolidate equipment for better maintenance and training. This is all to improve our all-hazard response capability to help us protect our district as the buildings grow older and the summers get drier. Feel free to stop in at 921 E Mullan Avenue in Osburn or call 208-752-1101 to share your concerns with us, to find out if you are a District One voter, or to learn more about what we are doing to address real challenges we are seeing to keep our community safe.
