03/28/2018

07:04 Fire and EMS responded to Highway 3 near milepost 106 for a vehicle rollover crash with entrapment. First arriving personnel were able to cancel extrication apparatus as the driver was out of the pickup. The driver was then assessed for potential injuries. He ultimately refused transport by ambulance, choosing to go into the hospital by a private vehicle.

20:39 Fire and EMS responded to Maple Street in Pinehurst for a reported chimney fire in the pipe above the stove. No issue was found with the pipe or the stove. Both were monitored for a short time and a family member of the occupant was contacted to provide assistance. The stove was checked on an hour after clearing to ensure there was no issue.

03:55 Fire and EMS, along with Law Enforcement responded to a residence in Pinehurst for an unknown issue. A patient was found to have exited his residence and fallen at some time during the night and was unable to get up. He was assessed and treated for possible injuries and hypothermia. He was then taken to SMC by ambulance.

09:01 Fire and EMS crews dispatched for a patient with stroke like symptoms. Patient was treated and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further care.

16:09 EMS crews responded to Silverton for a patient with low blood sugar. EMS crews evaluated, treated, and transported the patient to SMC for further evaluation.

03/30/2018

14:06 Fire crews responded to Spunstrand for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, no smoke or flames were showing and crews investigated the building in which the alarm was going off. The crews reset the alarm and contacted the shop foreman and the fire alarm technician. Upon completion of the investigation crews cleared the scene.

18:08 Fire and EMS crews responded to a man with an illness.

19:45 Fire crews responded to 601 Bunker Avenue for a smoke alarm.

22:48 Fire and EMS responded to Main street in Smelterville for a patient with chest pain. Patient was assessed for his complaint prior to transport by ambulance.

23:08 EMS crews responded to Pacifica in Pinehurst for a patient feeling ill. Patient was assessed on scene and treated with IV fluids and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further treatment and testing.

03/31/2018

04:33 EMS crews responded to the Placer Creek area of Wallace for a patient having a seizure. Patient was alert and oriented as crews arrived on scene. Patient refused transport to the hospital.

11:55 Fire and EMS crews responded to Sunset Dr. in Pinehurst for a patient with vertigo. The patient was assessed and transported to Shoshone Medical Center for further care.

14:27 EMS crews responded to Lookout Ski Lodge for female patient with back injury. Patient was treated and transported to SMC by ambulance.

13:43 Fire and EMS crews responded to Sunny Slopes for female patient with back pain. Patient was treated and transported to SMC for further care.

17:19 EMS crews responded with law enforcement and Mullan Fire to milepost 69 west bound I-90 for possible vehicle crash. Update that vehicle has a blown tire and off side of road waiting for tow.

17:39 EMS crews responded to Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Silverton for elderly female with breathing difficulty. Patient had a bad coughing attack that made her become short of breath. Patient was transported to SMC by ambulance for further treatment and assistance in hopes for relief from her cough.

06:47 Fire and EMS responded to Eastbound I-90 at Pinehurst for a reported unknown injury crash. Patient was assessed and treated on scene prior to being transported to Shoshone Medical Center by ambulance.

07:14 Fire and EMS responded to Eastbound I-90, milepost 46 for a vehicle crash that occurred just prior to the crash at mile post 45.5. The driver was not injured and did not require any assistance.

22:38 Fire and EMS were dispatched to Maple St in Pinehurst for a patient with difficulty breathing. Crews assisted patient by getting the patient’s home oxygen working. The patient decided their symptoms were relieved enough to stay home.

09:12 Fire and EMS responded to Pinehurst for a patient having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to SMC for further evaluation.

09:17 Fire and EMS responded to Pinehurst for a patient having a difficult time breathing. The patient was taken to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment.

09:26 Fire and EMS crews responded to Montgomery Gulch for a difficulty breathing. The patient was assessed and treated prior to being taken to Shoshone Medical Center.

14:40 EMS and Fire crews were dispatched to Wallace for a patient that fell. EMS and Fire crews assisted the patent up and treated and transported the patient to SMC for further evaluation.

01:05 EMS crews responded to 9 mile Rd in Wallace for possible broken leg! Patient was treated and transported to SMC for further treatment.

03:42 EMS crews responded to West Fir in Osburn for general illness and weakness! Patient was transported to SMC by ambulance.

10:03 EMS crews responded to Canyon Avenue in Wallace for breathing difficulty! Patient transported to SMC by ambulance.

17:38 EMS crews took patient transfer from SMC to Kootenai Health.

08:40 EMS crews responded to Mill Rd in Mullan for patient possibly in A-Fib (abnormal heart rhythm). Patient was treated and monitored carefully in route to SMC for further testing.

20:55 EMS crews responded to North Clifton in Smelterville for a pregnant patient having abdominal pain. Patient was treated and transported to SMC.

04/08/2018

17:18 EMS responded to First St. in Osbrun for a patient having chest pain. Crew treated and transported to SMC

04:57 EMS responded to Lake Gulch Rd. for a patient having a diabetic emergency. Crew treated, patient did not wish to be transported to hospital.

08:11 EMS crews responded to Wallace for a lift assist.
