I just want to speak my peace about all of the camping, swimming, living, ect., on the Coeur d’Alene River.

Respect your River! Pack It In, Pack It Out!

I was taught at an early age that when you visit the river and rorest that you clean up everything and take it out. Not to the Dumpster at the end of the road, but HOME and get rid of it there. The responsibility rests on the public, not on Shoshone County!

Everyone needs to Respect Their River/Our River! The county has tried to do what they can to help this growing problem, but people can’t help themselves. If a dumpster is full, what should I do, “oh I know just pile more next to the Dumpster. The Trash Fairies will clean up after You.”

Get real people, take responsibility and pack it in, pack it out!

Use common sense that if you love the river, then respect it!

What gets me is that everyone brings stuff with them, why not take it back home. What’s the big deal!?

Please remember to think and do what is right. Clean up after yourself and haul your own trash!
