Walter “Walt“ E. Lambott, 68

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Walter “Walt“ E. Lambott, 68, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away on August 6, 2018 at the family home. He was born October 17, 1949 in Butte, Montana; Walt was the son of Arthur and Muriel (Strike) Lambott.

Walt moved to the Silver Valley in 1956 and has called it home for the past 62 years.

On July 6, 1971 Walt was united in marriage to Wendy Collins at the Hitching Post in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This past July they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Walt was a hard rock miner. He began his career at the Star Mine, later going to work at the Lucky Friday where he worked until his retirement after 49 years.

Walt enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and going camping. Most of all Walt enjoyed spending time with his family.

Walt is survived by his beloved wife Wendy Lambott; his daughter Bobbie (Stephen) Williams and six grandchildren Lexi Lambott, Dylan Lambott, Levi Tesky, Aiden Williams, Avery Williams and Ava Williams. Walt was preceded in death by his parents, his son Tracy and siblings Arlene and John.

Cremation will take place and private family services will be held at a later date.
