Donald Dofelmire, 64

Donald Dofelmire, 64, peacefully passed away following an extended illness on Aug. 5, 2018, in Centralia, Wash.

Don was born to Don and Marlene (Nelson) Dofelmire on Oct. 14, 1953.

Don grew up in the Silver Valley of North Idaho where like any young boy spent hours hiking, riding bikes and just being outdoors.

Don served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Prior to enlisting, Don was enrolled in the Marine Corp JROTC program at Kellogg High School in Kellogg, Idaho. Where he attended high school.

Don was a member of the Rainer Eagles Club where he served as president.

Don is survived by his wife, Linda Dofelmire at the family home; brother David (Bonnie) of Pinehurst, Idaho; and his four children; Heather (Darren) Glazier of Laclede, Idaho, Derek Dofelmire of Kellogg, Chad (Sarah) Dofelmire of Longview, Wash., and Sean Dofelmire of Denton, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and many grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don Dofelmire, and Marlene and Walter Nelson.

Funeral services with full honors will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
