Wallace School District registration information

Student registration for Wallace Jr./Sr. High School will held in the school gym and be broken up by class:

- Tuesday, Aug. 21 — Freshman from 9-10 a.m., eighth grade from 10-11 a.m. and seventh grade from 11 a.m. to noon.

- Wednesday, Aug. 22 — Seniors from 9-10 a.m., juniors from 10-11 a.m. and sophomores from 11 a.m. to noon.

Registration fees for freshman through seniors: Student Activity Ticket — $16 (tax included).

Registration fees for seventh- and eighth-graders: Student Activity Ticket — $16 (tax included); book deposit $20. Fees must be paid at the time of registration.

New student registration will be done by appointment. Please call WHS (208-753-5315) beginning Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. New students need proof of immunization and age.

Student registration for Silver Hills Elementary School will be held at the school on Aug. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. New students will need to bring proof of immunization and age. Room assignments will be made on the first day of school.

First-graders must be 6 years of age on or before Sept. 1 and must bring proof of age and immunization records.

Kindergarteners must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1 and must bring proof of age and immunization records.

There are no registration prerequisites other than age and immunization records. Any 5-year-old child who has completed a private or public out-of-state kindergarten for the required 450 hours, but has not reached the school age requirement in Idaho, shall be allowed to enter the first grade.

Breakfast begins Aug. 30 for Wallace Jr./Sr. High School and for Silver Hills Elementary School at no charge

Hot lunch begins Aug. 30 for Wallace Jr./Sr. High School and for Silver Hills Elementary School and will cost $1.80 (extra milk is 30 cents).

The first day of school for both is Aug. 30:

- Wallace Jr./Sr. High School (7-12) will be in session from 8:10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

- Silver Hills Elementary School (K-6) will be in session from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The first day of school falls on an early release day for collaboration:

Dismissal at Wallace High will be at 2:50 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. at Silver Hills Elementary School.
