•Report of found property 400 block of Bunker. Possible paraphernalia items seized and disposed of. Report generated and completed.

•Extra patrols, Mission, Mullan. Foot patrols Bunker Ave.

•Traffic stop on Main Street and W Market for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Galena Ridge and McKinley Avenue for obstructed plates. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on Cameron Avenue into Conoco parking lot for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Dispatched to 400 block of S Division for juvenile out past curfew who was on probation. Spoke with parents and advised them to contact his probation officer. Male juvenile ended up running once he found out the police were called. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to 200 block of West Riverside for a semi that hit a phone cable and pulled down the lines from the power line poles. Lines were cleared and emergency personnel cleared from the scene. Clear public assist and information report taken.

•LL request regarding RP’s daughter theft problems. She will be making contact to next shift when child gets out of school.

•Public assist with loading some wood pellets into basement. Cleared public assist.

•Responded to the 400 block of S. Division St. for a runaway juvenile. K75 a short time later located said juvenile on W. Cameron Ave. Took the juvenile into custody and transported to Kootenai Juvenile Detention Center.

•Assisted K77 with runaway juvenile. Located said juvenile and kept him in my custody until K77 took him to SCSO for booking.

•Dispatched to an agency assist for a Tractor Trailer and shooting sparks all over the roadway of Interstate 90. Located the big rig and conducted a traffic stop. Driver was unaware they had a damaged trailer. Escorted them to a safe location to fix it.

•Firearms training.

•Traffic stop I90 on ramp eastbound 51 for obstructed plates. Cleared verbal.

•Responded to multiple 911 hang-ups in the Sierra Nevada area. Dispatch pinged the phone, but was unable to provide an address (Call was somewhere up Sierra Nevada Road). Checked the area & nearby residences, but was unable to locate anyone needing assistance.

•Headed to Main Street, Wardner for lots of smoke in the area. Checked the area with the Fire Department and discovered individuals burning a brush pile near the hillside.

•T stop on Hill Street into the Avista parking lot for stop sign violation. Clear verbal.

•T stop on I90 eastbound at 51 for driving at night without lights on. Clear verbal.

•T stop on 100 block of Mullan Avenue for no plates. Suspected driver of being impaired. Driver was ran through some SFST’s and eventually arrested and charged with DUI. Clear arrest.

•T stop on I90 for plates being obstructed. After identifying both parties, one of them had a warrant and the other had an expired driver’s license. Driver was cited for expired license infraction and the other was arrested. Clear arrest.

•Traffic stop in the 500 block Wardner for equipment. Verbal.

•Traffic stop on McKinley Avenue for no headlights. Verbal.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street for stop sign violation, they were lost in town (trying to get back to the freeway). Verbal.

•Called to the 200 block of East riverside for a parking complaint, found owner and vehicle was moved. Cleared public assist.

•Called to the 500-block mission reference a custody issue, parents were contacted and it was resolved. Cleared public assist.

•Patrolled.

•Called to the civil standby in the 500 block of west mission. Cleared public assist.

•Fail to yield with a vehicle in Wardner, however it was an elderly female from out of state who was lost. Cleared verbal.

•Called to a traffic complaint in the 600 block of upper third, however he was gone prior to my arrival.

•Found a vehicle on McKinley with an open door. Found owner in Wah Hings and they promptly closed it. They accidentally left it open. Cleared public assist.

•Traffic stop on Bunker Avenue near the Cameron intersection for speed. Cleared verbal.

•Attempted follow up with currant case negative contact.

•Follow up and interviews on a possible sexual battery case. Closed case due to non-sufficient evidence.

•Traffic stop on 100 block of Station Street for expired registration. Cleared verbal.

•Attempt To Locate (ATL) on a green Ford Explorer as a possible 8004 driver. Found said vehicle on I90 just before exit at 49. Vehicle passed me at approximately 30-40 mph and its rear left tail light was not working. Conducted a traffic stop with said vehicle, which led to a consent search and ultimately a tow inventory of the vehicle due to the driver being suspended and finding methamphetamine along with scales, several small baggies and other paraphernalia in the vehicle. Driver was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Less than 3 oz of Marijuana, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Paraphernalia, Driving without Privileges (out of state) and Failure to Provide Insurance (misdemeanor). If you’re riding dirty, maybe you should drive the speed limit (not 30mph under) and have all your lights in working order... or NOT.

•Evidence and reports for the rest of the cold night.

•Called to 200 block of W Riverside for hit and run. Suspect left scene. Cleared report taken.

•Dispatched to 100 block of E Portland for dog at large. People had rounded up the dog prior to my arrival. Took dog to pound. Cleared public assist.

•Follow up on reports.

•Found dog 100 block of E. Portland. K72 transported to Kellogg pound.

•Agency assist ISP with traffic stop on Jacobs Gulch. Canceled prior to arrival.

•Agency assist Medical personnel with male subject that called in requesting assistance at Cameron Conoco. Cite and release on subject for possessing drug paraphernalia. Subject was tended to by medical.

•Called to Family Foods for another fake 50$.

•Called to Mullan Avenue for a report of stolen meds. The theft occurred in CDA. Refereed other agency.

•Welfare check on Main St. All was code 4.

•Words from the Chief– “Everyone, check your November reports and make sure they are started and property has been added to any theft and Mal. Injury reports.”

•Unwanted subject at McDonald’s. This was the subject from earlier that declined courtesy transport. Medical offered due to being outside for a majority of the evening (declined). Provided courtesy transport to Smelterville. *Subject was not trespassed, but on the property prior to opening shift arriving.

•Citizen contact 700 block of Bunker. County units contacting subject that left SMC to return property. Subject was offered transportation to whatever location they were going and declined.

•Called to Dave Smith Motors for report of runaway. Cleared public assist. Sometimes being a salesperson is just too much and they run away.

•LL request regarding trespassing. Cleared public assist.

•K73 got his patrol vehicle back, minus door decals, but also minus the big dent in the passenger door. BOOT!

•Suspicious circumstances 100 block of elder. Cleared public assist.

•Attempt to Locate out of CDA. Vehicle fled from traffic stop last seen in CDA heading toward I90.

•Suspicious activity 100 block of Elder (possible drug use). Slight odor of marijuana coming from somewhere. Contacted neighbors and unable to locate source. Public assist.

•Ushered majestic woodland creatures from one end of town to the other.
