LEGAL NOTICE FOR ST. JOE RANGER DISTRICT December 6, 2018 Submitted by Tracy Gravelle, St. Joe Trails Program Manager The St. Joe Ranger District is interested in your comments on upcoming grant applications to the State of Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. The St. Joe Ranger District is applying for grants to pay for general log out of motorized trails, heavy trail restoration work in the Big Creek and Slate Creek drainages, along the Simmons-Heller Divide in the upper St. Joe and in the Mallard Larkins. The District is applying for funds for both motorized and non-motorized trails. All of the proposed trails are in need of brushing, clearing fallen logs, drainage repair, drainage structures, tread work and sign replacement to alleviate trail hazards. The St. Joe Ranger District may also apply for funding snowmobile signs/maps and road work on the 201/395 Roads to Sawtooth Saddle accessing Snow Peak and the Mallard Larkins.
