Michelle Obama's BECOMING best-seller
Michelle Obama’s ‘Becoming’ best-seller
I’ve heard or read quite a bit of dissatisfaction, if not hatred, of Obama’s presidency, so I wonder how many will read the best-selling book by Michelle Obama, BECOMING? I hope they won’t let their feelings prevent them from this really fine description of life in the White House.
I’ve just finished the book, and I would like to emphasize that its status on the best-seller list is justly deserved. Not only well-written, but so enlightening to me about the real value of those eight years to our country. What a realistic and personal look at the lives of the presidential family.
I would challenge all readers to put this on their priority list. It is a fine culmination to this admirable woman’s experiences as a First Lady, and her abilities and aspirations as a first class humanitarian. Her charm and grace are indeed fine examples of statesmanship.
If nothing else, the Epilogue alone is something every person needs to read.
