Sarah Ann Cagle, 82, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away December 14, 2018 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born September 10, 1936 in Hope, Idaho; Sarah was the daughter of Henry J. and Doris (Therien) Cook.
Sarah had attended and graduated from the Mullan High School of Mullan, Idaho in 1954. In 1962, she attended Cosmetology School in Kellogg; Sarah served in this profession for forty plus years. She first worked for a Beauty Salon in Wallace.
Sarah married Bonis Cagle in December of 1963; they moved to Missouri in 1966; they later divorced. While residing in Missouri, Sarah owned and operated her own Beauty Salon for twenty-three years. In 1989, she moved to Texas to live with her daughter Lucy, where she worked for a Salon there. After retiring, Sarah moved back to Kellogg in 2003, to live with her sister Ina May Wegner. After moving back, Sarah worked for Georgine’s Beauty Salon of Kellogg for a short time.
Sarah was a member of the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg. She loved and enjoyed her family, crocheting, reading, ceramics, crafts and gardening.
Sarah is survived by one daughter Sheri Lynn and Richard Jordison of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren with twins on the way; one brother Tom Cook of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two sisters Ina May Wegner of Kellogg, Idaho; Mary Morrow of Hobbs, New Mexico; two special aunts Violet Thornton of Clark Fork, Idaho and Elaine Loftin of Junction City, Oregon; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Henry, Jack, John and Sonny Cook, one sister Virginia Lorenzo, and two daughters Debra Offield and Lucy Fullerton.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the American Lutheran Church of Kellogg with Rev. Alec Rivera officiating.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Lutheran Church, 16 E. Riverside Ave. Kellogg, Idaho 83837.
