KPD Roll Call: Dec. 11-18

•Called to Fairbridge Inn for male refusing to leave. He left upon my arrival. Cleared public assist.

•Called to 200 block E Riverside for welfare check. All code 4.

•Took dog in from county.

•Extra patrols in hard-to-get places looking for various missing persons. Sierra Nevada area, Government Gulch/Galena Ridge area, Theater Road ‘park’ area including mountainside north of the Interstate. Nothing out of place and only movement in majority of the areas were deer and Elk.

•Called to the 700 block of S Division for a welfare check. Individual was code 4.

•Called to the Amy Lynn’s for a physical domestic, however after some investigation it was determined that the parties were just going to be separated. Cleared peace restored parties separated.

•Traffic stop 400 block of Main Street Kellogg. Verbal for speed.

•Traffic stop on Railroad next to bank CDA for stop sign violation. Verbal.

•Responded to a fist fight at Silver Mountain Resort. K76 arrived on scene first and discovered one party involved had left the scene. Information was gathered from RP. Investigation is still on-going.

•Called to the dentist next to Jake from State Farm for a subject that was upset over their insurance not covering dental work. Subject said that he was going to the other dentist house to talk with him about the insurance issue. Later saw the subject walking and spoke to him about the incident he assured us that he was not going to the house. Cleared, Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Assist K76 with domestic. Cleared agency assist.

•Assist county with out of control male. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Welfare check on a adult female sitting in a car on Cedar Street, ended up becoming a DUI arrest. Cleared, strike 3 for driver...

•Attempted contacted on a 29 service, negative contact.

•Citizen contact in the 500 block of Main Street, Wardner with two individuals standing in the roadway. Cleared NAT, they were waiting for a ride.

•Traffic stop in the 100 block of McKinley Avenue. Verbal for equipment.

•Traffic stop in the 1000 Block of McKinley Avenue for speed. Verbal given.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a fight not in progress all suspect fled before we arrived.

•Attempted to locate a possible stolen vehicle for County units near Vergobbi Gulch. K76 was unable to locate the vehicle in the area.

•Took a dog in from the County.

•Traffic stop at Bunker and Hill Street for stop sign violation. Verbal.

•Motorist assist at Bunker and Hill, vehicle was stopped in the driving lane just before the intersection. Advised to move to yokes parking lot for his phone conversation.

•Follow up on No Contact Order (NCO) case.

•Spoke with persons sleeping inside vehicle at Yoke’s. They had permission to be parking there from management, however explained they cannot be living in the vehicle. They were understanding and went to stay with friends.

•Report of lasers being pointed in eyes of drivers in the 2000 block of McKinley (Galena Ridge area) on the north side of Galena Ridge. Unable to locate anything/anyone nefarious and no further reports of the incident (1 reporting party).

•Landline request. This was passed along to K77 as it pertains to his investigation.

•Several other landline requests that were also passed along to K77 as they all pertained to his pending cases.

•Released dog from the pound from earlier placement.

•Notified of 911 call that was disconnected/ended prematurely. Dispatch had no further information other than one of the callers stated they were in “Kellogg”. They were unable to ping/gps the phone either.

•Landline request with Health and Welfare (HW). HW wanted me to make contact with an individual regarding a home visit. Attempted to make contact with said individual but was unable to establish contact.

•Observed a storage unit disturbed on E. Portland Ave. After a closer look, I discovered the lock had been cut off recently and the unit was empty. Was unable to make contact with the owner at the time. Documented the scene and will be continuing to contact the owner.

•Dispatched to the 300 block of Brown Avenue for a resident being threatened by an individual outside their home with a long rifle. K76, county units and K77 checked the area and did not discover any such activity. Later discovered the reporting party was experiencing a medical issue and was hallucinating. Just say no to Meth people.

•Called to IGA for a citizen contact, it was the same person from earlier. She stated that she needed an ambulance because she ate rat poison, however she also stated that once medical arrived that she had recently used methamphetamine- so yeah rat poison and meth, same thing in my book. Cleared other agency assist.

•Called to a hit and run on North Street. However, upon arrival he said he didn’t need a report, damage was very minor. Cleared public assist.

•Called to the Fair Bridge for a found firearm. Front desk lady had contacted the last 5 people who had rented the room, however they all said that they didn’t have/bring a firearm with them. Cleared report taken.

•Called to the 400 block of Brown for a civil standby. However the caller decided he didn’t want it anymore when contacted via landline. Cleared.

•Called to the 400 block of Brown for a Juvenile runaway, Juvenile was located and brought back to the home, she was just right around the corner from the house.

•Called to SMC regarding question about female from IGA and men with guns call.

•Worked on reports.

•Land line request regarding child custody. Cleared public assist.

•Reference the landline request the same female was in Kellogg claiming child custody issues. Cleared public assist.

•Called to assist health and welfare in the 300 block of South Division, however nobody was home. Cleared other agency assist.

•Assist K76 with runaway juvenile. Juvenile was brought back to custody of parent.

•Parking complaint on 600 block of Bunker Avenue. Cleared vehicle moved.

•Assisted Santa with the Wardner Santa run.

•Landline request made. Cleared, negative contact.

•Traffic stop on Railroad Avenue for driving without headlights. Cleared verbal warning.

•Landline request regarding Welfare check. Wanted to schedule welfare check tomorrow, when asked why, it is because children are left home all the time. After being given the ages of the children, advised we would need a better reason for a welfare check.

•Foot patrols, Bunker, McKinley.

•Citizen contact. Mill/Division found open door on vehicle, owner contacted and was already aware. No further action taken.

•Evidence.

•Online training. Breath Testing Operator re-certification course(s).

•Physical training. Drager proficiency at SCSO.

•LL request regarding welfare check. Cleared public assist.

•Called to 400 block of W Mullan for theft. Cleared civil.

•Civil standby at Amy Lynn’s cleared civil.

•Welfare check at 300 block S. Division. and bar check at Dirty Dog Saloon.

•Lots of patrols and extra patrols...in the rain.

•Welfare check 800 block of S. Division for possible suicidal subject. Contacted RP and the subject, everything was fine, emotions running high.

•Released dog from pound.

•Did the 49ers play this weekend??

•Report of vehicle burglary in Silver Mountain Apartments parking lot.

•Called to 300 block S. Division for male refusing to leave residence. Male left without issue upon my arrival.

•Called back to 300 block S. Division for a female refusing to come to the residence. Child was later found by K75 and K74 and brought back home.

•Citizen contact Kellogg City park (by truck stop). Cleared verbal.

•Unwanted subject 300 block S. Division. K75 handled.

•Attempt to Locate possible DUI leaving Yoke’s. Vehicle was located in Smelterville by County.

•Juvenile runaway. After K75 spoke with parent, did not want to sign, but noted the child left the home. We were able to locate and take said child back home.

•Assist county in Smelterville with attempted burglary. 2 subjects wearing dark clothing trying to break into a building, when confronted by RP they took off running. After searching the area, one subject returned. When asked, they admitted to trying to get into the building...with keys! Other agency assist.

•Citizen contact Theater Road, two vehicles parked for overnight camping. They were advised it is a park and closes at dusk, I allowed them to stay given the time we made contact and how far out of the way they were.

•Traffic stop 49 westbound on-ramp I90. Verbal for headlight. They were in the process of transporting tools to disabled vehicle at same location.

•To whom ever found the offense and sent it back to Minnesota, Thank you.
