William J. Woods, 95

William “Bill” J. Woods, 95, of Kellogg, Idaho was born in Terre Haute, Illinois on September 23, 1923. He was the son of Alfred and Bertha (Cassidy) Woods. Bill passed away on December 23, 2018 with his wife by his side.

Bill graduated from LaHarpe Illinois High School in 1941. He then joined the United States Army. After being honorably discharged Bill went on to attend Western Illinois University.

Bill liked anything with a motor. He enjoyed riding jet-skis, motorcycles and flying planes. He also was an avid snow skier who skied to the age of 91. Bill enjoyed watching all sport but especially loved cheering on his Gonzaga Bulldogs. Bill was all about enjoying life and having fun. He enjoyed traveling, dancing and spending time with his family.

Bill owned and operated a trucking company for many years which gave him the ability to travel around the United States which he enjoyed.

Bill leaves behind his wife Karen; three sons William, Roderick and Mark all of California; step-daughter Pamela Jones of Kingston and daughter-in-law Lori Woods of Osburn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, his son Timothy and grandson Christian.

Per Bill’s request no services will be held.
