•Dispatched to 400 block Brown St. for animal complaint. Cleared unable to locate.

•Lots of patrols in residential areas.

•Follow up on some calls at FairBridge Inn and landline request.

•Vehicle parked in roadway in the 100 block of Mullan running, contacted owner and advised him that the middle of the road is not the place to park.

•Report of a stolen vehicle, after some investigating it turned out that the repo man was in town. Cleared civil.

•V.I.N. inspection at City Hall.

•Responded to the 700 block of 2nd St. for someone parking on their property. Central Waters was fixing a broken pipe and the RP believed they were parking in his driveway. I was able to show RP the driveway was actually Central Water’s property. Cleared peace restored.

•Report of a parking issue and the Amy Lynn’s. Cleared civil.

•Kootenai County deputy called wanting me to pick up an adult male on a warrant for him. Discovered later said adult male doesn’t live in Kellogg anymore. Cleared unable to locate.

•Worked on reports.

•VIN inspection at KPD.

•Equipment/vehicle maintenance on lightbar stuff - did not work - will need to place calls tomorrow for spare-working parts order.

•Paperwork/legwork for several cases.

•Followed-up with County on qualifications/certifications for taser.

•Chief and K74 closed out three cases by stopping into Dave Smith Motors and speaking with Prosecutor’s Office.

•Assisted K76 for physical domestic at 300 block of W Cameron. K76 arrested male subject. Cleared agency assist.

•Animal complaint 400 block of McKinley. Cleared unfounded, owner had already put dogs in their home.

•K76 received message regarding suspicious individual stating he wanted to do something unlawful. It turned out to be an adult male who had been drinking, was left behind by his friends, and wanted a place to stay for the night. In his drunk wisdom, he thought jail would be a good place. K76 declined to take Otis Campbell to jail.

•Attempt to catch a dog running around railroad. I was unable to bring him to the pound.

•Did a welfare check on the 300 block of W. Mullan. Individual was code 4.

•Mobile patrols of Kellogg and Wardner.

•Rain and then more rain.

•Intelligence gathered on possible 37 (drug information).

•Worked on equipment maintenance for vehicles and tasers.

•Caught everyone up on training hours with K71 for taser training from last week.

•VIN inspection @ Bunker Mine – completed.

•More paperwork prep for outside agencies for their taser training - got the paperwork together for them to have on their own training records.

•Parking issue on Main Street in Wardner - did not issue parking ticket as it was a company working at a residence in a company vehicle.

•Parking issue 600 block of S. Division Kellogg - required person to move their vehicle out of the roadway.

•Picked up a dog that was attacking a moving vehicle - dog just didn’t like vehicles and was more than happy to jump in the patrol vehicle - returned to owner one house away, as it just jumped a fence.

•Verbal warning given 300 block of W. Mullan.

•Citizen contact at KPD for possible theft and identity theft. Referred subject to proper agency as they live in the county. Notified west end deputy of the contact.

•Property damage crash 100 block McKinley.

•Dispatched to 800 block of S Division for threats being made over social media. Cleared informational report taken.

•Assisted K76 on traffic stop on 200 block E Cameron. Cleared agency assist.

•Dispatched to Silver Mtn for a female loitering around the area. Cleared UTL.

•Dispatched to 500 block W Mission for disturbing the peace. Cleared unfounded.

•Dispatched to Silver Mtn again to give male subject PBT (breath test) to see what his blood alcohol content level was before driving home. He was a member of SWAT in Pullman, WA and received call out and wanted to make sure he was ok to drive. Had county come bring a PBT. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to 100 block of McKinley Ave. for vehicle accident with property damage. Ended up not being a reportable crash. Cleared unfounded.

•Traffic stop in the 200 block of East Cameron Ave. for not headlights. Clear verbal.

•Traffic stop at Hill Street and Vergobbi Ave. for stop sign violation Clear verbal.

•Citizen contact in the IGA Parking lot- Was looking for friend who was wondering Kellogg somewhere, Friend was contacted and transported to her fathers house.

•Citizen contact at Main St, Wardner and Sierra Nevada. Cleared N.A.T.

•Verbal warning 10 block of W. Mission - speed, display license plate (front) and turn signal - no traffic stop conducted as they stopped in a parking lot.

•Verbal warning for blocking roadway in front of Dave Smith on W. Riverside. Stated they were there to pick up items to move. Advised them to use the parking lot that they purchased instead of blocking one lane of travel in winter. Also a verbal warning for improper lane change (as they were parked facing the wrong way while double parked. Ticket would have been issued, but I caught them as they pulled up and they left after being spoken to).

•Verbal warning #2 for no parking allowed on 100 block of S. Elm. As I arrived to issue parking tickets, they were entering their vehicles before I could get out. Advised about the sign they parked in front of, they went and checked and apologized for parking on wrong side of street.

•Attempt to Locate- assist Idaho State Police with hit and run from MP24 on I90. White GMC pickup struck vehicle and continued eastbound at a high rate of speed. County located vehicle and stopped just east of the 48 exit. Canceled.

•Called to Morning Star Lodge for intoxicated male refusing to leave hot tubs.

•Shots fired in alleyway behind 300 block Chestnut. Information report started.

•Provided courtesy transport. Cleared public assist.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.

•Suspicious person in the roadway at the intersection of W. Cameron and Hill. Upon arrival, female subject was disassembling a cell phone and sifting through papers. Long story short, an adult female was arrested for Under the Influence of drugs/narcotics in Public and Possession of Paraphernalia. While at the jail, it was discovered she had someone else’s mail. Contacted that person and County took an arrest for Petit Theft and Possession of Stolen Property, as she did not have permission to have the mail. Don’t do drugs people. If you do, you could end up sitting in the middle of the street with someone else’s mail.

•Ran paperwork up to the Sheriff’s Office for in-custody’s.

•Vehicle burglary at Kellogg Fire. Upon contact with victim, incident took place in Coeur d’Alene. Referred to other agency.

•Dispatched to 600 block of Upper 3rd for a physical domestic. Arrested an adult male for Battery (not domestic related). Report completed.

•Open door 500 block W. Riverside Ave. Cleared building secured.

•Traffic complaint, 400 block of Main St. Wardner cleared verbal warning.

•Traffic stop 600 block S. Division cleared verbal for taillights.

•Business check at Morning Star Lodge.

•Extra patrol 300 block Chestnut.

•Business check at Fair Bridge Inn.

•Citizen contact at Fairbridge, subject was warming up in the lobby and shortly left after making contact.

•Dispatched to a theft call on 100 block of Cameron Ave. RP had a single tire and rim stolen off his rig while he was sleeping. Report was taken. Also, the RP is requesting extra patrols in the area.

•Responded to Stein’s Grocery Store for multiple bad checks. More follow-up will be conducted.

•Conducted foot patrol at Kellogg Middle School.

•Report of a package taken from home that was set out side. Report taken.

•Report of a male driving up and down Wardner shooting a gun while intoxicated. Contacted said male and although he was intoxicated, his car was cold and no other signs that he was out driving or shooting anywhere. Cleared unfounded.

•Missing 16-year-old. Later found out they were not missing, but at a basketball game.

•Patrolled side streets and alleyways.

•Traffic stop on Mill St. cleared verbal.

•Patrolled Kellogg and Wardner.
