Story time at the Osburn Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon, 921 Mullan Ave. For ages 0-5. Singing, crafts, stories, and snacks. Event reoccurs every Thursday.

Mullan High School boys basketball at home vs. Wallace High School. Varsity tip-off at 7:30 p.m. JV at 6.

FRIDAY, JAN. 5

Jackass Days at Silver Mountain. Celebrate 50 years with Silver Mountain.

Downhill Divas Women’s Ski & Snowboard program begins at Lookout Pass. Friday’s through March 19.

Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

Kellogg High School boys and girls basketball at home vs. Timberlake High School. Girls varsity tip-off at 5:30 p.m., JV at 3:45 p.m. Boys varsity tip-off at 7 p.m., JV at 4 p.m.

Wallace High School girls basketball at home vs. Bonners Ferry High School. Varsity tip-off at 7 p.m. JV at 5:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, JAN. 6

Lookouts Ski Resort free ski school program begins. Ages 6-17 runs every Saturday morning, 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. (beginners) and 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (intermediate & advanced) through March 10.

HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid (CPR will be Adult, child and infant) classes from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (CPR) and 1-3:45 p.m. (First Aid) at SMC Community Outreach Center, 9 Country Club Lane, Pinehurst. You may choose to attend just the CPR portion or just the First Aid portion, but must be signed up as there is limited space per instructor. Books must be picked up & fees paid at Shoshone Medical Center prior to class. Call 208-784-1221, Ext. 350 to sign up.
