Judy Marie Rounds, 60
Judy Marie Rounds, 60, of Mullan, Idaho, passed away December 31, 2017 at the Schneidmiller House of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born August 22, 1957 in Wallace, Idaho; Judy was the daughter of Leonard and Martha (Koivisto) Hegbloom.
Judy was a life long resident of the Silver Valley. She attended and graduated from Mullan High School in 1975.
Judy was employed by U.S. Bank for a number of years before working for Shoshone County Social Services and finally serving as the deputy Treasurer for Shoshone County.
Judy was known to give back to her community. She served as a director of the Shoshone County Food Bank for a number of years and also was the coordinator for “Christmas for Kids” in Mullan for the past 17 years.
When Judy wasn’t working or volunteering her time, she was known to be enjoying the outdoors. She loved side-by-side rides in the mountains and going for boat rides with her son Chris. Judy also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Judy was a charter member of the Mullan Ladies Bridge Club. Judy loved spending time with her family and friends.
Judy was united in marriage to Phil Rounds in 2005.
Judy is survived by her husband Phil Rounds; children Chris Richardson, Liane Richardson and step-daughter Mellisa Rounds; three grandchildren Kody Richardson, Dillon Rounds and Haiden Rounds; her two siblings Carol (Mike) Murray and Jerry Hegbloom; her brother-in-law Dave Rounds and her mother-in-law Vi Primer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and by her dog Mucker. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dale Hegbloom and her step-son Nick Rounds.
A Memorial Service will be held for Judy on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00P.M. at the Morning Club in Mullan, Idaho with Pastor Carey Schram officiating. A reception will follow at the Morning Club.
