TUESDAY, JULY 3

- Smelterville Lions Club meeting at 7:15 p.m. at 301 W. Main St., Smelterville. Event reoccurs the first and third Tuesdays of every month.

- U.S. Militia Northern Command meeting at 6 p.m. in the Brooks Hotel restaurant.

- Idaho Statehood Day parade through the streets of downtown Wallace. Line-up at 5 p.m. at the Wallace Elks building. Parade begins and 5:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 4

- Independence Day

- Kellogg 4th of July celebration. Parade decorating at 11:30 a.m. in the Silver Mountain parking lot. Kids and pets parade at 12:30 p.m. starting at the Silver Mountain parking lot. Live music & Beer garden from 1 to 5 p.m. Old-fashioned games at 1:30 at the city park. Soap Tarp Hockey Tournament at 2:30 p.m. at the city park. Cannonball contest at 3:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Pool. Fireworks at 10 p.m. over the Silver Mountain parking lot.

- Bunker Hill workers meeting at the Broken Wheel in Kellogg at noon.

- Wallace Planning and Zoning meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

THURSDAY, JULY 5

- Shoshone County Democrats meeting at 7:15 p.m. at the Osburn Senior Center.

- Silver Valley Farmers Market from 5-8 p.m. at the Silver Valley Chamber Office, 10 Station Ave., Kellogg. Enjoy a taste of the local food and artisans, listen to live music, have a sip of local beer and relax on the Trail Greenbelt. Every Thursday evening through October.

- TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) from 5-7 p.m. at the Kellogg Senior Activity Center. Contact Jackie Kennegard for more information.

- Bingo at 5:30 p.m. at the Steel Workers Hall in Kellogg.

- Free kids country line dance class from 6-7 p.m. at Mountain View Activity Hall (west entrance), 525 W. Cameron Ave., Kellogg. Call 209-406-9969 for more info.

- Sixth Street Melodrama & Theater presents “Nightmare at Dream Gulch” at 7 p.m. Showings will reoccur Wednesdays through Sundays from July 5-29. Wednesday through Saturday shows at 7 p.m. Sunday matinées at 2 p.m.

FRIDAY, JULY 6

- Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7-10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

SATURDAY, JULY 7

- HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid (CPR will be Adult, child, and infant) classes at SMC’s Community Outreach Center, 9 Country Club Lane, Pinehurst. Classes from 8 to 12:30 (CPR) and 1 to 3:45 (First Aid). You may choose to attend just the CPR portion or just the First Aid portion, but must be signed up as there is limited space per instructor. MONDAY, JULY 9

- Kellogg Elks Bingo at 6:30 p.m. at the Elks building in Kellogg. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

- Fresh Air-Obics course from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the SMC Wellness Center Outdoor Fitness Park, 858 Commerce Dr, Smelterville. Children 6-11 year of age are invited to play games, be fit and use teamwork. Sighn up at the Fitness Center. Event goes from Monday to Thursday, July 12.

- Country Line Dancing at the Kellogg Senior Center. Wednesday & Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
